Top place to visit in Oaxaca. Arrived here with tour and the views and architecture are awesome. Great for pictures and learn more about the amazing culture. *Consider covid times arrive early because they only let 200 people enter per day, also view what days the site is open if you don't visit with tour.

Postpone your trip if you can. Everything inside, such as tombs or inner courts, is closed off right now. These are the most interesting and important bits, with the most beautiful motifs and all the murals. Now you can only admire from the outside. An unnecessary choice in my opinion, as they could have put measures to safeguard enough distance and capacity.

Very interesting ruins, but once again INAH has made the experience much less enjoyable. They have closed all tombs, yet kept the entrance price the same (75 pesos). The opening hours have been cut to only 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. During Christmas time a huge line starts forming at 9.30am until closing time. I arrived at 10am and had to wait about 30 minutes to get it. They let in 70 ppl at a time, every 15 minutes or so. There is no posted information detailing this system anywhere. The place is packed and they are making tons of money so they could easily set up a system to allow ppl to see the tombs. It's like INAH is trying to make the system as confusing and illogical as possible. That being said, it's an important and beautiful site that's a must visit if you have the patience.

An interesting site to visit there will be a guide to explain what you are looking at and tell you the history of the place it has a $85 pesos fee but overall it's an ok experience.

Great place for a visit, as part of a tour. If it was not for a tour, I doubt I would go. There is market very close to the entrance.

Great tourist destination. I wish they had more signs describing the arqueológical site. Please don't climb over!!! The site is divided in 2 sections so don't miss the Pyramids.

Beautiful building, sadly it closes too early and/or opens too late. 10 AM is too late and the heat is already settling in. 3 PM is too early because most returns from Hierve El Agua would be around this time making this site too hard to visit. You cannot really see the site from outside as well, making it a very sad touristic place and a lost money making opportunity.

Wonderful place to wander around. Bring comfy shoes and something to drink. They do have guides if you would like some explanation. Small compared to other sites but exquisite architectural style. I loved how the cacti does it down thing around here
