El sitio está en procesos e investigación y aún no se restaura. Tiene alineación solar con los solsticios y el equinoccio. El sitio Arqueológico se extendía por el vecino Panteón.
It is a monumental sunken courtyard from the Epiclassic period (600-900 AD), probably used as a tecpan or palace in pre-Hispanic times, one of the few found in Jalisco.
The site is in process and investigation and has not yet been restored. It has solar alignment with the solstices and the equinox. The Archaeological site stretched across the neighboring Pantheon.
