L	Laura Escarola on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A zoo in the middle of a deserted/dry environment. I don't know. Painful to the eye showing little animal empathy. Expensive and expired food; take snacks instead. Sunblock is a must.

I was definitely surprised by the different animals they have: A family of Lions, white lions, elephant, hippos, sheetas and so many others. You could probably see everything in 60 minutes! Loved the little spots to sit and relax! Im sure you could bring your own food. It was great! I went with two babies under two and thwy didnt want to leave the place.

Cages are not even cleaned properly and it seemed to be so for days! Not safe enough. Although it is amazing to see such beautiful animals so close, you see there is a big risk with many of the enclosures. Many that should the animal decide to jump, they could easily get out. And if that is.not bad enough, half the park was closed!!! Not one single concession stand open at 3 p.m.!? Ridiculous

PERHAPS... the sad thing was that most of the roads inside the place are loose dirt... it is too dusty. there is only one spot of restrooms, which happens to be far from everything ; to litttle options of food and snacks... animals... seem fine. again... people do not wear face masks and do not respect social distancing. Zoo authorities MUST control how many people get into the place... it was a bit crowded!!!!! yet still... a nice place to visit, EARLY!!!!! DAMN EARLY to avoid crowds.

G	GB Rosales on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place needs a big time make over. The poor animals live in filth and dirt and their faces are just sad. It almost made me cry seeing them in these conditions. Please avoid this place until they show better living conditions for these living beings.
O	Osvaldo Mercado Coss on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is definitely not the best zoo, but it exceeded my expectations considering I've been to other zoos of cities of the same size as Queretaro and they do not compare to Wameru. It is a place to stay 2 hrs top, don't expect to spend a full day here and it is worth to say I was impressed by the animals found here (white Bengal tigers, 2 sets of lions, hippos, leopards... I was truly not expecting these type of animals here ). I attended the zoo on a Wednesday and we had the zoo to ourselves. Hopefully the zoo will grow and improve cages and overall habitats for the animals, as some of these seemed quite small. Definitely recommended for a morning with the kids.
