★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 points for environment, 4 points for food quality, 2 points for value of food. The main issue is that I'm vegetarian and their menu was limited. I ordered a salad that was meant to come with crab cake, but I obviously asked for no crab. I think I still paid full price for what is pictured below...300 pesos for 150 calories worth of greens and a glass of wine seems excessive. That being said the staff seemed friendly, the views were good and the wine was decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mediocre is the word that comes to mind with this restaurant. Other than the steaks all of the other food we ordered was average or below average. The view on the level of the restaurant is completely obstructed by the plants unless you are standing up. The American cover band on the top floor (bar) did not add to our dinning experience. Overall, I would skip this restaurant as there are better views, better food, better quality in SMA.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our excitement to experience Zumo dimmed as we were led to the upper, upper terrace. Albeit the views were intimate, stunning and are a new perspective of the San Miguel Centro skyline BUT the B class decor was not. The main rooftop restaurant (one flight of stairs below) is stunning and where we were expecting to be seated. It is cool, chic & stylish. However, our food was cold and at a home cooked level of sophistication. Will not return, we have a house in SMA and there are too many better restaurants to frequent than Zumo. We wasted a night and stomach space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had high expectations given all the glowing reviews and impressive web-site pictures, but felt very underwhelmed. We were seated on the very top level which has a great view but is NOT where you want to be - it was quite windy and cold on a warm and still evening. The food was good, but not memorable and the service felt rushed. It does have a great outlook/view but there are way better quality and value places with comparable views in SMA.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We highly recommend Zumo for events! We had a welcome event for 75 people on their rooftop to kick off our wedding weekend. The views during sunset were amazing, house margarita with passion fruit was delicious, and all of our guests complimented the service for always being ready with their next drink the second they finished one! We got that compliment about the event at least 5 times. Mariana the events coordinator was a pleasure to work with, I can imagine she is a great wedding planner based on the attention to detail she provided us. She made it easy to work with her even though we do not live in Mexico and had to coordinate virtually. The price per head for appetizers and open bar was also very reasonable. Thank you to the whole team for helping us throw a memorable event!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was delicious best cuisine experience so far in San Miguel de Allende. The coconut panna cotta was mouth watering. Service was excellent. Establishment followed COVID-19 protocol. Very clean and amazing view.
