★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented an older appartment for 9 months! Liked the place generally but the management of selvanova need a lesson in customer service! Builders working on cracks in the Wall of the appartment next door for 1 week, no prior warning. Changed security over night and rules of entry the same time causing traffic at the gate. A bit of though about their customers before making changes would be appreciated!
The houses might be quite, but the Appartments have a lot of noise. Once a fortnight someone is having a party at 3am and it affects 5 others. 2 in its block and 3 in the block behind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay as a tourist. You avoid resort prices but also resort amenities. The complex includes a gym, indoor and outdoor pool. Must have a car to get around playa del carmen or further out to Cancun or Tulum. To come in and out on a rental you must receive a visitor pass for your car. Protip: They request to hold identification like a license, but try using something like a club membership with a picture so that you van easily replace if it gets lost - also you don't want to be without your license if you get "pulled over". Be sure to have everyone with seatbelts when driving because there is a checkpoint between playacar and cancun where the cops are looking to find people without seatbelts...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We currently rent here. Worth what we pay but if owning you may want to ask questions regarding the future status of the house. Like for example: will it "descuartizar" (wall may look like it's "falling" apart, check for the tuberia (water plumbing pipes) and heater. Kinda tricky to turn on. Aside from those three things all is definitely worth it. Nice tight gated community. Clean areas. Gardening on point. Swimmable pools. Comfortable bbq area. Spacious homes & apartments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stay, clean place, the hosts where fabulous, the gate is manned 24/7, big pools and outdoir bbq area, recommending this place. You have to drive downtixn but other then that it's a good place to stay when visiting cancun.

These are nice for either long term or vacation rentals.
