Acudí al Licenciado Elan y su equipo ya que, debido a circunstancias ajenas a mi, incurrí en una situación de estancia migratoria irregular por documento vencido. Destacar que en todo momento la atención fue de diez. Un trato cercano, profesionalidad, buen precio, excelente servicio, excelente atención. Y lo más importante, respondieron de manera perfecta a las expectativas que me dieron lo que resultó en la resolución favorable de mi trámite y también en mi tranquilidad psicológica tras la incertidumbre que da estar en situación irregular en un país que no es el tuyo. Es justo y necesario reconocer el trabajo bien hecho y a los/as profesionales competentes. Recomiendo encarecidamente contratar los servicios de este bufete. I agree with another recent review. However, I thought Elan left this office two years ago. I paid him $10,000 pesos in cash, he always had a dozen guys following him around as 'assistants', I signed stacks and stacks of papers that I had never done before, he moved his office to coyoacan, and then stopped communicating with me. I never received a visa, just signed tons of paperwork and excuses. He told me I should go to Columbia because that is where most of his immigration work is done. Why, I am an American. I can say that I have paid 5 attorneys in Mexico and all of them have run off with my money. I don't think it's this firm in general, I think it's just a way to take money from foreigners.

English version (versión espanola abajo): Unfortunately, I haven´t read the comments before contacting Elan respectively Abogados Migratorios Mexico but now, after 4.5 months of waiting for my visa/ work permit, I can assure you to WATCH OUT! At the beginning they responded pretty fast when it was about to sign the contract and getting their money but 1) they have NOT VERIFIED my documents, what was basically their job, why my visa was declined after about 3 months. 2) While waiting for the answer of the Institute of Immigration their work left a lot to be desired. We have been told to get an answer “ahora” (esp. now) but it has always taken various phone calls, messages and/or days until they really answered. It felt like being their nanny and cost us a lot of money and 3) meanwhile I´ve been waiting one month for an answer of Elan even though it was planned to re-open my case! I really can NOT RECOMMEND this office! We paid, were kept waiting, got disappointed and have never gotten an answer neither an apology or (financial) compensation! In the end, we had to hire an other office to get the work permit! Versión espanola: Desafortunadamente no leí los comentarios de Elan o sea Abogados Migratorios Mexico antes de contratarlos pero ahora, después de esperar 4.5 meses por mi visa de trabajo les recomiendo RECONSIDERAR CONTRATARLOS! Al principio ellos respondían muy rápido cuando se tratará del contrato y el dinero que se pagaría pero 1) ellos NUNCA VERIFICARON mis documentos, que es básicamente su trabajo, por lo cual mi visa fue desechada después de 3 meses. 2) Cuando estaba esperando por una respuesta del Instituto Nacional de Migración su trabajo dejo mucho que desear. Nos comentaban que obtuvieremos respuesta „ahorita“ pero siempre tardaba varias llamadas, mensajes y/o días hasta que nos contestaron. Se sentía como ser una niñera detrás de ellos. 3) Mientras tanto estuve esperando un mes por una respuesta de Elan aunque se planteará re-abrir mi caso. Realmente NO RECOMIENDO estos abogados. Yo pague, estuve esperando y nunca he recibido una respuesta, una disculpa ni una compensación por su mal trabajo. Finalmente tuve que contratar a otros abogados para obtener mi visa de trabajo.
