Basic, clean, good breakfast, on the beach, though Unico or My Paradise Beach clubs w/ bar are 2 miles away. El Centro 2.5 mi, 250 Ps taxi away.

Very negative experience. We arrived at 4pm and the host told us that the restaurant stopped serving food at 4 and drinks at 5pm so we only had time to order one drink and then they would close. There are no restaurants around for 4km which is in Puerto Morelos. A taxi each way from town costs 300 pesos and the taxis stop coming at 5pm. We had to beg the host to reopen the restaurant and make us quesadillas so we would have something to eat. After 15 minutes of refusing to help he relented and cooked us dinner at 4:30pm. The guy really was a pain and not very helpful. The beds in the cabanas are a thin mattress in a slab of concrete. Not very comfortable. If you pay extra you can have a refrigerator in your cabana. The beach is very close by. The beach is not maintened. There is seaweed and trash everywhere and it smells terrible. The showers were clean and hot water which was a relief. To top all this off they charged me cash for my one night stay as well as my credit card. Now four weeks later I am still trying to get a refund on my credit card payment. What a waste of time. Yes, this location is secluded but I don't think you'll enjoy your time here.

We stayed at these cabanas while our friends were at a nearby resort. We aren't big resort people. These cabanas are NOT resort-like; I found it was good to think of them like staying in a cabin. The biggest drawback to this is food; you pretty much have to hitch a ride or have a car to go into town for food. That being said, everywhere we ate in Puerto Morelos was amazing and pretty cheap (~150 pesos per person). The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nice. The bar food was pretty good, and everyone was very accommodating (especially since I speak next-to-no Spanish). There is WiFi, but it doesn't stay connected well. There is also an exceptionally friendly cat, named Meow, who greeted us (along with a human host). It was lovely to walk out and be right on the beach. The cabana we stayed in was number 4, which had air conditioning and a private bathroom. The air conditioner does emit a pretty bright light, but it didn't affect our sleeping. Having the private bathroom was definitely a good decision for us. The shower was large and had water pressure that was better than I expected. The bed wasn't my favorite bed, and the pillows were pretty flimsy, but I think if I'd asked for another pillow, we would have been given one. We didn't get to go on the snorkel tour due to high winds the whole time we were there, but the staff was very friendly about it, and again, very patient with my lack of Spanish.

Terrible place..... Rooms were shabby and dirty. Parking lot was a rutted mess and filled with shabby old rvs. It looked like a homeless camp. The restaurant and bar shouted ptomaine. First view of the beach was a fat woman sunbathing topless at one of the hotels lounge chairs. We left without spending the night and checked into a decent hotel down the road. What a waste of time and money.

Discovered the place and went for a half day on a Wednesday. Nice showers and beach side bungalows. My 10 year old had a blast in the sand and water. Why go to a crowded neighboring resort when you got the whole place to yourself with awesome service!

The communication with this property is so hard and reluctant! Irritable behavior. We finally came, the beach was so messed, they asked price like for a luxury hotel and couldn't tell me if the breakfast is included or not. Nobody knew nothing and the owner didn't took my calls. I don't recomend this place!

Terrible communication. Do not return direct calls or emails. We were not interested in spending our $$ here - 1st impressions are very important. Too bad they don't care. Book elsewhere like we did. 0 out of 5 stars.

Best prices on this part of the beach. Great location for us, and the beach ambiance was amazing. They respected the peace and tranquility. Provided a superb deep tissue message with stretching and elbow work. Highly recommend!
