Agua Clara Diving Cozumel - 77600 San Mateo

I had the best time with Agua Clara last week on Cozumel! I did two days of 2 tank dives with them and a night dive (5 dives total). Eyal and Phillip were perfect guides, and we saw so much marine life! I can't wait to return to Cozumel and dive with Agua Clara again ?????

Ayel was recommended from another dive instructor friend of someone in our group. We just finished 4 days/8 dives with Agua Clara Diving Cozumel. We brought a friend to get certified in open water and combined some of her check off dives with our dives. Coral was amazing, so vibrant. Even the C-53 shipwreck did not disappoint as it was covered in vibrant coral life. We made the mistake of not staying on the island. The ferry from Playa del Carmen was easy enough but made us get up very early. Highly recommend booking first class tickets on the Ultramar Ferry to skip the line boarding, exit first and sit with a quieter atmosphere with air conditioning. If you take Winjet, arrive 30-60min early or you may not make it on the ferry. Ayel and Arturo were wonderful instructors for our friend (we were watching and listening). They were both patient, knowledgeable, and SAFE! Favorite dive - Columbia where we saw multiple turtles but close behind that dive was every other dive. Cozumel is gorgeous! Strong currents - was loving my ScubaPro Seawing Nova fins. My friends were losing control but my fins allowed me to stay in place to film. Recommend renting a private boat (they can arrange). Large shared boat was ok too. Fresh fruit for snacks and delicious granola cookies. Only are of improvement would be having a bucket with fresh water on the boat to soak cameras after. We left our gear with Ayel since we were diving 4 days in a row to prevent hauling back and forth on the ferry daily. We would (and still may again this trip) dive with Ayel and/or Arturo again. We had an amazing diving experience with Phillipp. He is a very smart teacher, who showed us the basics and safety rules very well. We had to do some safety exercises under water, which are very useful, also for future courses. He is very calm und helpful, even if someone is frightened of the deep in the first impression. He explained every question, we had in detail. Beside this, he gave us some good recommendations regarding restaurants and took some photos. When we’ll come to Cozumel for diving again, we are going to book Philipp again!

Phillip was an excellent dive master. My girlfriend and I were recently certified, and it was only our 7th dive. He was very helpful refreshing us on the techniques. He knows Cozumel well and guided us on two great dives, showing us manta rays, sea turtles, barracuda, and countless fish. He is fun and made the dives very enjoyable. Highly recommend Phillip. We plan to dive with him again in the future.

Now back in Washington DC after a big snow storm, the whole family is remembering the WONDERFUL time we had scuba diving with Eyal, Leon and Ricardo in Cozumel. Definitely the place and the people to be with for a fantastic experience on the amazing Cozumel reef. These guys take care of everything, with a great attitude and unlimited patience (including with our kids!). Highly recommended!

Great dive trip in Marine Park Cozumel with a very experienced and professional instructor I did two dives and a refresher as my last dive trip was more than three years ago. Equipment was new, the boat ride was great and we even got a small lunch. During the dives we saw lots of corals and fishes. On top we saw turtles, moray eels, rays, and sharks. I highly appreciate as well that my girlfriend was allowed to join for snorkeling for a reduced price and after all divers were in the water the boat did an extra tour to bring her to an area suitable for snorkeling. Last but not least everything was organized very smoothly and all communication was handled easily in English via Whats App. I would definitely book again with Agua Clara Diving - thanks again team!

Best experience I had in Mexico! The team is super friendly, motivated and full of tips and suggestions for diving and beyond. Philipp even gave us his phone number in case we have any questions regarding diving or Mexico in the future. On top of that they offer excellent coffee at the store. If you have the chance do a night dive with them - the pinnacle of our diving activities here. All in all 10 / 10 would do again!! Thank you for everything Agua Clara Team :)
