★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Mom and I went to Tango with some friends last week(June 2021). They were quite busy but the place flowed like a well oiled machine. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I got the Grilled Octopus with the Garlic and mushrooms..I think it's the best Octopus I've ever had. Even my Mom was floored with the tenderness and flavor..it was truly amazing! Our friends ordered the beef carpaccio which was a hit..but they come here frequently. I got the 17oz Rib eye..it was perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing. Great food and drinks with great service. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drinks were good (Pina colada, mojito, and white Russian, Conga, and strawberry margarita). Tamarind Martini was very interesting, worth a try if you are adventurous.
Rolls were tasty with either the herb sauce or the spicy salsa.
Stuffed portobello was delicious.
Spinach empanadas were good, but a little more bready than I expected, Argentina style i think.
Fried basa was huge and had good breading. Grilled salmon medium rare was very good. Like the sweet potatoes and vegetables, not so much the parmesan fries.
Creole salad was fine, but 2 heart of palms salad was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consistently excellent offerings. Smoked provolone with peppers and tomato. Sirloin prepared just the way I like it.
Wait staff is watchful and efficient, without hovering.
Local artists' offerings adorn the walls.
Great for two or a large party.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an Ajijic stalwart. Bilingual staff who are friendly, attentive and know the menu. It is in the top 5 of places I would take visitors and newbies to lakeside. Clean, quiet, great menu, decent prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous food, great service, welcoming atmosphere
Tango is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Ajijic. Located just a stone's throw from the lake, it's one of those places that's 'just so.'
Service is attentive, friendly, and frankly excellent. The food is outstanding, especially the carpaccio, which I would say is the best in town.
Full mark every time. Highly recommended
