Typical Mexican restaurant with locals only. I loved eating there, there are daily specials, the price is more than correct and the staff are very cheerful. I can only recommend this restaurant.

I was in Akumal at the fonda la chapanequita, the little place is rustic, organic food with very good zazon, I highly recommend it.

We loved this totally local and typical Mexican cuisine! The team was super nice, they allowed us to look at the dishes before choosing. And made us discover the vegetables from here ?♥️ I recommend!

Great local family restaurant. Lots of local people dine here. The food is very tasty and the prices are also affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wowww this restaurant serves incredible food!! Very authentic, fresh, and local. We got puerco and pollo con mole and it was beyond perfect! Fall off the bone meat served in a tasty sauce with freshly made tortillas and a side of rice and beans. I would eat there every day if I could! Very affordable as well. 100 pesos per meal. Don’t miss this place or you’ll regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried this place a few weeks ago in Mexico. Great food for a very good price. They were very accomodating, we don’t speak good Spanish and they speak very little English so they allowed us to go into the kitchen to see the food to order. There aren’t many options but the options they do have are great and authentic, the locals seem to love it here!
