Muy buena para los atletas, para el público queda un poco s deber por la grada tan pequeña
Very good for the athletes, for the public there is a little duty due to the small stands

This is a very clean, 50 meter pool about 15 minutes from the tourist area of Playa del Carmen. We went three times during our stay and learned a few things that might help people visiting in the future: -Route yourself to Unidad Deportiva Riviera Maya or else it tries to send you through a forest. You will have to pay for swimming at the sports office, anyway. We parked in the lot beside the office and walked to the swimming pool (it is not difficult to find, but it is easier if you switch to satellite image on your phone to see the way). You can park beside the pool, but you need to drive along an unpaved path with rocks so we did not risk it. -The pool hours (in February, at least) were M-F 7am-12pm and 5pm-9pm. You pay per hour and can swim for seemingly as many hours as you wanted as it is not too busy. It costs 50 pesos per hour per person. Again, you pay this at the sports office before heading to the pool. Make sure to bring your ID. English was not widely spoken at the office so have Google Translate if you need it. -There are outdoor showers (heated) and locker rooms with showers (unheated). The locker rooms do not have lockers but do have cubbies. There is also a seating area outside where you can leave your things. It seemed pretty secure as there is a person checking everyone in. -Women need to wear a one-piece swimsuit. I was only told this 1/3 times that we swam, and was still allowed to swim in a two-piece since I did not have any other suit. -Sunscreen is not allowed

The phones are not answered. Turns out the pool is open 7am-11am and is 'being cleaned' for the rest of the day. Also, the actual entrance is about 1.5 km from the Google maps location, from the Ciudad Deportivo. A spectacular looking, obviously expensive, facilities. Pity - poorly managed with no website, no social media pages, not even phones attended
