Great place...tasty and awesome food. It could be in some way expensive but the experience is outstanding!! You have to try it once...pretty sure you will return.

This place has been my personal discovery. Authentic mexican food married with European traditions of serving and demonstration. You will have hard times deciding between all breakfast options, there are a lot and all are good! You can also ask to modify the dish to your liking sometimes (less spicy, different way to cook eggs). Lunches are interesting and also very good. Portions are honest (aka big)! Try it, don't doubt!

Great food, by Chef Pablo Salas. Original flavours, good quality, and a nice proposition of surrounding ingredients. You might want to try the traditional basics around the state to enjoy it more, but still, it's great food that gets you directly.

Being Amaranta one of the most important restaurants in Toluca (and not exactly budget freindly) they should take more care of the details. I used to go when it was brand new and the recent experience was not as good as in the past. I went for breakfast on a Monday morning and the coffee was completely ordinary, somehow diluted and the pan dulce was not fresh, it was very dried actually, as if it had been old; the meals were regular, only the chilaquiles were good. Unfortunately, I felt the experience doesn't worth the price, I hope they return to their higher quality standards soon.

Amazing food, good portions and incredible service from the staff. I had fetuccini with delicious huitlacoche for starter and amaranta chicken breast as main course altough it was difficult to choose
