There are so many places to stay in Puerto Morelos that it can be difficult to make a decision so reviews are important to let others know what is good or not about the places you have stayed. I can say unequivocally that Aqua Guest House is a home away from home. If you like comfortable king size beds, perfect pillows, a smart TV, great internet and a kitchen that is equipped with all of the essentials and is spotlessly clean then this is the place for you. Oh and did I mention the pool and comfortable chaise lounge chairs? This small boutique 6 apartment guest house is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute bike ride to town. (You can rent bikes from them)The only sound you will hear is the chirping of the birds. Your hosts, Sarah & Gerzon, both long time residence of Puerto Morelos, are charming and friendly and very knowledgeable in where to go and what to do.

When my wife & I were looking for a special place to spend a couple of weeks in Puerto Morelos in blissful relaxation, we chose Aqua Guest House. And boy did we make the right choice. What we found was a quiet boutique retreat nestled in a residential area 5 minutes from the beach. The unit we were in (there are currently only 6) was spacious and well equipped for our needs. From a king size bed to a fully equipped kitchen to your own private patio with a hammock for your afternoon siesta, this place had everything. And did I mention the pool, laundry facilities, bicycles you can rent, and great internet? We were a 30 minute beach walk or 10 minute bicycle ride to town. Best of all, our hosts Sarah & Gerzon were a reservoir of information of what to see and do in Puerto and the surrounding areas. For value, this place is second to none.

Very clean and pleasant stay. Close proximity to beach but not in busy and bustle of town. Sarah was really helpful and gave us great tips and recommendations such as connecting us with rental car agent. Great bikes for rent. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Aqua Guesthouse! It was perfect for what we were looking for which was a relaxing few days, extremely clean room, comfy beds, pool, bikes and friendly helpful hosts. We also thoroughly enjoyed the "smart" TV in our room to enjoy a movie after our day of adventure. Sarah and Gerzon gave us amazing recommendations to enjoy Puerto Morelos! Would recommend for anyone staying in Puerto Morelos.

I stayed for 3 nights. I had asked for early check-in and they were able to accommodate me. I was communicating with Sarah through Whatsapp and she was quick at responding. She recommended a transportation company ( that was cheaper than the other transportation companies) the company she recommended picked us up from the airport and they were also clear in their communication. Gerzon was waiting for us when we arrived and he gave us the tour of everything and he also sent us a descriptive and thorough guide to various local spots. We walked to the beach and walking at a slow relaxing pace it was about a 10 minute walk. They were both very welcoming. It is a safe area and there are other guest who have access to the pool as well. The rooms were clean and brightly lit with natural sunlight. There was some loud noise because of the neighbors building but not too loud. Sarah and I also had some miscommunication with the bike rentals. I believe it was fixed and I was not charged for the miscommunication error (will update later). check out was smooth. The only thing I did not fancy was that the bathroom window did not have a cover and the gentlemen doing construction next door could possibly see me. We were located on the first floor.

Beautiful gardens at a peaceful guesthouse Aqua Guesthouse March 4, 2022 Beautiful guesthouse with custom furniture in each room and luxurious king beds with fine linens and towels. The kitchen is well equipped and we made good use of the BBQ. The pool was cleaned daily, as was the property. Gerzon and Sarah are wonderfully, warm, hosts and ensure your stay is enjoyable. We stayed for four months and miss them already! The property is 2.5 k. from the town of Puerto Morelas, so very quiet and you hear the birds chirping all day long. You can rent bikes at the property. I highly recommend Aqua Guesthouse. Date of stay: November 2021

These studios are exceptional. The hosts are very welcoming, warm, and communicative. Studios have a kitchen with all essentials and basics. Beautifully organized kitchens with all the necessities for a comfortable stay long or short term. We appreciated all modern amenities like AC, Smart TVs, black out curtains, massive comfy beds, and even tooth brush holders. Everything was meticulously planned and designed for comfort. It's very stylish and curated with taste. The grounds were beautiful, and we felt very safe. We absolutely loved having the pool and access to bicycles during our stay. This would be our first choice next visit. This place is absolutely perfect for couples. We thought it was fun to ride the beach cruisers into town each day. It made us feel like locals, it only takes about 10 mins. I give it 5 stars ?.

Amazing place to stay that is stylish and clean with nice decor that is not cluttered. The bed was very comfortable with a nice cotton duvet and sheets with very pretty decorative pillows. The kitchen had everything you need including oil, sugar, coffee, pepper and salt. This place is more geared for couples or adults due to balcony and pool. We stayed with our 15 month, but the host was very upfront about that which we appreciated. She's doing some renovation and adding 2 more upper units. The place included a hammock, beach towels and beach chairs. You can also rent a bike for getting around town. The owner is originally from Toronto and speaks both English and Spanish and was more than happy to help provide recommendations or information. The place is as advertised and is very beautiful! If you are looking for a nice place to stay outside of the town a bit but close to the ocean with a pool, stay here!! So happy we chose this location for our last 2 days in Mexico!
