There is a small but beautiful cenote at the end of a short trail just to the right of the arch. Entrance fee is optional??

Start here for a great adventure into Sian Kaan. Great drive to Boca Paila, but road not good. Beautiful sights to see, some parts you can see the Caribbean and the Lagoon within feet of the edge of the road. Bring water and snacks.

This is the entrance to Sian Kaan. It cost 40 pesos to enter the reserve, and you stop and pay at the arch. It is at the very end of the Tulum beach access road and can take about an hour to get to from the Chedraui in Tulum to the arch.

Not worth it! It's just endless driving and the few beaches are full of waste. Waste of time

I love the stretch but the road was very very rough if you don't have a four-wheel drive or something lifted don't attempt to go down here you can rent four wheelers somewhere in that area that you can take down there save yourself the hassle of trash in the rental car cuz the road is just too bad

El Ult Mo Ma Restaurant and beach club enabled us to enjoy our beach day. Stray far from their beach front and you are assaulted with the plastic and other garbage washed up on the beach. Very sad Mexico issue. Beer was cold. Service was spot on. Food was great. No beach walkers selling their goods. Nice for a change.

I'm not sure what to make of this place. It is supposed to be a bioreserve but there are private residences along the coast that don't want the public roaming around. Since I was on a bike I didn't get very far in so maybe it gets more park like further down. Since it costs to enter it is less crowded so it is much quieter than the rest of Tulum.

Awful place. Awful road. Awful beach. The reserve is more littered than a junkyard. Sharp plastic pieces EVERYWHERE on the beach. Bear bottles, thrash everywhere. It's a shame they charge money to enter a place with so much thrash that they call a reserve. Seriously the audacity of these people overwhelms me completely.
