Las Palmas Maya - 77780 Tulum

Stayed at LPM for 5 nights with my family of four and 2 other families. This eco hotel has my highest recommendation. Tom is a superb host and goes above and beyond ensuring his guests are well taken care of. Daily housekeeping service was a nice & unexpected bonus. We had fresh towels (one for beach & one for bath), filtered drinking water, and an onsite communal kitchen area for cooking & hanging out. Enjoyed delicious food and friendly service at the onsite restaurant. Malika and staff are great. The accommodations exceeded my expectations, and I slept well every night in the treetop suite. 24/7 electricity & AC avail from 8p-5a. Great showers thanks to strong water pressure & hot/cold water. Easy breezy beach access directly across the street via La Eufemia. Parking avail for our compact rental car— which was a real “amenity” considering beach road has very limited parking options. Book directly from the Las Palmas Maya website for the best deal. Tom will take good care of you! Muchas gracias to LPM— my Tulum vacation was everything I was hoping for & more!!

This hotel was very relaxing and seamless to stay at, I felt at home and always had help when I needed it. The couple that run this hotel were always available for a chat and had the best local recommendations. Don't forget to try the coffee and to go for a massage on the beach with Miguel ! The rooms were always magically cleaned everyday, I would only step out for a few minutes and would return to my bed made and a cleaned room. All in all I highly recommend staying at this affordable and comfortable hotel.

Loved staying in the jungle-like, almost beach-front property. The kitchen is super handy and you have a lot of freedom to eat/buy whatever you want. The big super market is quiet a ways down the road so having a car rental was helpful. The staff was great and we really enjoyed communicating with everyone on site. The rooms are super clean and we really liked the mosquito net, it was very helpful because the bugs in this area are fierce. Tom was awesome at pointing out all the good spots and a fun companion. The breakfast and coffee on site was yummy and exceeded expectations. It's the shortest walk away from the beach and we even saw baby turtles run toward to ocean for the first time. Our stay here was definitely a highlight of our vacation, and we went to an all inclusive after this!

Tom was an incredible owner/manager, communication via whatsapp wasstraightforward and direct. Cell signal in tulum beach is nonexistent, but at las Palmas Mayas, I was able to pull 30mbps down and 5 mbps up, amazing! Location is very central to beach access (la eufemia, best beach vibes imo), restaurants, and bars. We had an issue with our room that needed to be taken care of, and Tom jumped at the problem and had us in a different room within a couple minutes, he comped our breakfast(avocado toast with eggs, delicious), and gave us a couple bikes to roam the beach for free. TLDR, our stay was awesome, food was delicious, wifi was faster than major chain hotels anywhere in Quintana Roo, and Tom is the man, stay here if you’re visiting tulum beach.

Tom was the most accommodating hotel host ever. He even gave us a ride to the bike rental place down the road! The place was modest, but super clean, and location was ideal. The restaurant attached to the hotel was quite delicious as well. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Quaint little hotel with amazing hosts! Tom was super helpful in suggesting plans for our stay in Tulum. Coffee and drinkable water provided which is nice. Super easy access to the beach, and for half the price of the resorts that are “beachfront”. We’d stay here again!

Our stay went far above expectation. Tom and his girlfriend were the most gracious, organized, informative, and hospitable hosts you could ask for. We wanted to hire him for our vacation rental business! Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff all smiles. We loved our visit, even through a hurricane, and will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Tulum! Tom is incredible and the whole staff is amazing! You are 1 minute from the beach surrounded by restaurants, shops and all you need but yet in a very quite spot! My room was impeccably clean and it was so relaxing to rest there. I will come back for sure! Thank you!!!
