Arichè Tulum Hotel & Hostel - 77780 Tulum

Chill hostel with nice rooms, cozy common and pool area. The hosts were kind and lovely people (who can make u a delicious margarita) - and of course having a dog is always the biggest plus.

Wonderful hostel! Javier, Aldo, and the other staff members are so helpful and friendly. Incredibly clean, nice showers, and cozy beds. Loved staying here.

I couldn't sleep well there because it was too noisy from the outside but also a bit from the inside. The AC is working only on nights, not good in humid area, also the lights are only working in specific times. There is no kitchen. The pool is nice,l and you can get to know other travelers very easily.

ONGOING SCAM - be aware! so they have been pulling off a scam for a while, it seems like, booking is currently looking into it. What they do is that on booking (and maybe other platforms) they sell beds in a 6 bedroom dorm, then when you get there, they’ll charge you the rate you previously confirmed on booking + 3%, which is just the start of it. They will then put you in a 32 bedroom dorm. You will only realise this after you’ve paid, then when you’ll go to the reception and confront them about this, they’ll simply tell you “oh we don’t understand what happened” and they will refuse to do anything for you. They have some other false information as well on booking, they say that there are toilets in each room, which is not true. There are 4 showers to be shared between the 32 beds. The only toilets are in a common area, none are in the dorms. They also claim to have a/c, but that’s not quite the case. They turn it on at 11pm (or if you ask them you might be able to get them to do it at 10. They then turn it off either in the middle of the night or very early in the morning, I woke up around 8 and by that time the aircon was already off.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable and there was a super cute common area with a bar. Pool was great and staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The hostel is also well presented and extremely clean throughout. Conveniently located within 3 mins walking distance from the ADO bus station. I will definitely stay at this hostel again when I return to Tulum.

One of the best places I've stayed in Mexico. Staff extremely pleasant and kind and always willing to help. The location is great as everything is close. The area is well maintained with a bar where you can have a drink. Highly recommend and will certainly be coming back?

Literally the coolest place in Tulum. A cozy hotel with nice architecture, beautiful rooms and fantastic staff. The appliances are of higher standard than other places, showers in the rooms, for instance, are ample, fitting two people nicely and the water runs strong and with good temperature (with is surprising in Mexico!). Very easy to meet other guests in the bar and in the pool and it seems to attract a lot of nice young and open people. Surprisingly, we did not have noise problems for sleeping.
