Arizona Dental Nogales - 84030 Nogales

Husband needed a 3 tooth bridge (replaced his 50 year old bridge) and a crown. I needed a whole new smile which consisted of 20 crowns. They did an amazing job. They took great care of us. No pain, 3D digital computers and on site lab. Extremely pleased with everything. We saved about 70% over U.S. prices. We will be back.

I can't say enough good things about this practice! I'll start out by saying that I've had some horrible experiences with dentists before and really don't like visiting the dentist. I I had to have a fairly complex root canal and Dr Sosa did an excellent job making sure that I was comfortable the whole time that she was doing my root canal. She was very thorough and extreme skilled. Dr Calvo took care of the crown as well as a few other procedures for me and I was thoroughly impressed with his high level of skill and excellent demeanor. All of instruments and equipment are state of the art, the whole office is very clean, and the entire staff is very friendly. If that's not enough, the prices were just a small fraction of what I was quoted at home. Even if the pricing were equal, I would still take the time to drive to Arizona Dental just because of the high level of quality care that I received there.

Had a crown and root canal. Crown fell off three times within a year and root canal became reinfected with abscess because they left a file in my tooth. When I contacted them, they "lost" my file record and said they can't find my profile. Now I need a root canal redo and new crown but my new dentist said my tooth might die all together due to the first failed root canal treatment. They are really nice and the dentist is fluent in English. Don't let the fancy tech and nice people fool you, though. I recommend you go to a dental school in the states over going here if you're strapped for cash. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE New dentist couldn't find the file because they put a post made out of composite without my knowledge. Usually you just need to move the post to get to the worked area but now it's impossible. The crown is also leaking but that doesn't really matter at this point. Now I'm billed for root canal redo, extraction, and implant which is $$$$$$. Please don't come here.

I had the most amazing experience yesterday with Dr. Lopez at Arizona Dental! He was gentle, patient, kind, extremely informative and honest. I ventured across the border into Mexico because I thought I needed my second crown and the first one was $1200 U.S. But he told me it wasn't necessary and did a bit of a tricky filling on the gum line using a very effective and painless technique thus allowing me to spring for the very affordable tooth whitening procedure as well! What a pleasant surprise! Dr. Lopez also fixed an old filling since he was in there already and it all came to the extraordinary price of $220! YAY! I will be back for all my dental work from now on. Walking into Mexico from Nogales, Arizona is easy but it is a long wait coming back across so prepare for several hours in line. Bring water, snacks, a good book and layers! It started to storm and all I had on was a hoodie and very low battery on my phone so it was a miserable wait coming back but now I know to be more prepared. There are cabs waiting at the border so it's easy to get around and stay in Nogales, AZ as well as a secure parking lot if you bring a car. There seemed to be several decent looking hotels right near the entrance to Mexico and the Dental Center (as well as many other medical type and medical spa type centers and pharmacies) are all literally steps across the border on the same block. I have been using Arizona Dental in Nogales Mexico for over three years and have had quite a lot of work done at a really reasonable price. I have two implants on the lower side, also a partial plate on the other lower side (which will be replaced with two implants and a bridge), and an upper denture. I could not have been able to do this in the USA because it would have cost me between 3 or 4 times more money. The dentists are very good, and up to date on all of the latest developments. The facility is very clean, and have all of the latest equipment. Less than a 1/2 block over the border. Thank you Dr Marco Calvo, I am very happy with everything you have done for me!?

Put away your fears and stereotypes about professional services south of the boarder and you will amply rewarded with incredible top notch dentistry at a third the price you would pay a few miles to the north. I have been to Az Dental several times and I can honestly say it is the most high tech, top quality, professional dentist facility I have ever been to- bar none. While I was getting 4 crowns perfectly made today, my wife got a root canal and crown. All of this happened in under 5 hours start to finish and easily 1/3rd the price as Tucson. Park in one of the lots off 19 in downtown Nogalas and walk across the boarder. Its right there. It does suck to stand in lne for 45 minutes trying to get back into my own country- and Boarder Protection gives no preference to US Citizens, but thats another topic. Plan on it and consider timing to get back through customs when booking your appointment. Small price to pay.

I first sent an email here to get information on the price and they sent me a half qoute and made a short email that did not answer the questions I asked. I ended up going anyway and spent 1800 for two crowns same day as exam and it took them 5hrs including exam root canals and crowns. They have alot of professional tools and good dentists. But they are terrible at communication and they have a bane for sending emails and will avoid it. and to get a guarantee for the crowns you have to show up every six months for 2 years which wasn't specified. The costs they offer are 45 cavity 15 exam 450 root canal 450 crown and 45 for cleaning. Also Good prices and great technology?

Dr Carlos Salvo and his assistant were top notch! I visited for porcelain veneers on my lower front teeth and a zirconium crown for a single implant and all went perfectly. I traveled from the Midwest U.S. because of the cost and the great reviews in addition to the warranty on the work performed and I am glad that I did.
