★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a beautiful, unmounted silver buckle set bought by my father in Taxco 60 years ago, and I wanted it mounted on a belt by a craftsman in Mexico in his honor. Many shops selling leather goods are just retailers, but this shop did their own work. I was shown dozens of belts and finally found one in the right size and with a nice design. I was charged $60 for the belt and the mounting which I though was fair, and the quality of the work was good. Ask for Oscar.
