Had great time with family. Host and staff were fantastic and our suite was gorgeous. Rode free bikes to beach and all the restaurant recommendations were delicious. Can't wait to return when the property is completed!

This place is incredibly stunning. It’s also very tasteful and not over done. It’s like a little boutique hotel/holiday rental. There are two buildings but they’re attached so it’s easy to go to and from the stunning pool area or the hot tub. The bar wasn’t open when I was there but I’ve heard it’s incredible. I would absolutely book back there again.

Stunning! The design and decor feels like a movie set. Very peaceful and we'll kept. The only noise is from area construction. The apartments are well appointed and very comfortable. The private dipping pools are perfect to relax. The area (Aldea Zama) is very difficult to navigate , although conveniently located.

We made a reservation for this place in advance (since May 2019 to stay on August) our time shared offer us this Hotel as an option for our vacation in the Mexican Caribbean, they didn’t let us know this place is not very well located and also there is many buildings under construction around. (Which means very loud sounds since early morning) Our first impression was that the hotel was far from the ocean and unless you have a rental car it is very difficult to go different places. We rented a PH apartment with three rooms and to begin with the front desk personnel didn’t even know about this and when they brought us to our room they showed the room as a two room PH, when I told him that we rented a three room he said this was the PH we rented. (After a few minutes we figured out the third room). There is barley any housekeeping service (we stayed for 9 nights) and they only cleaned the PH two times, I had to call the front desk many times because we never had enough basics like toilet paper and towels. (The people at the front desk are very rude and disrespectful and they also scream at me and asked me if I had a “good reason” to be asking for towels or toilet paper. The hot water in the shower was never hot, and also they have “hours” to use the swimming pool (from 8am - to 8pm) the weather here is very hot and the swimming pool is also very hot (we wanted to use the pool at night , around 8 and we never could) the front desk person also scream at me because of this and he said very ruthless “this is what we offer and if you don’t like it is not our problem” . The restaurant (that is next to the swimming pool) supposed to offer breakfast and it opens at 5pm, so if you want to swim and have any food or drinks from 8 am till 5 pm they will not be available. We felt very uncomfortable and not welcoming environment at all. They are very rude and they don’t understand what service is about at all. They talk back to customers and think it’s ok to be disrespectful. The worst was when they asked me “for a good reason to ask for basics like toilet paper and towels” This never happened to us before in any part of Mexico. Very very disappointing. Poor service terrible customer experience

Horrible service, tried it for the second time and it’s even worse. No one goes there either.

The most horrible (and overpriced!!!) place we ever stayed in. Restaurant with loud music and screaming people until late next to the pool. Situated next to a camp with local people playing very loud music, barking dogs until 4.00am and toxic smoke from burning trash. Impossible to sleep with all those noice. On top of that they stole our bikes just in front of the building.

Gorgeous design. Comfy beds. Make sure you make a stop at market before you go. Parking is free. Great pool and friendly staff. No smoking allowed anywhere. Make sure you try their fish tacos. They’re the best!!

We’ve stayed at Arthouse 3 or 4 times now. We keep coming back because it’s a beautiful property. The apartments are a good size. We usually stay in the jungle Arthouse, it’s my fav because it’s basically a townhouse. It’s first level so you don’t need elevator or stairs to get to your place but it’s a 2 level apartment so stairs inside. Because it’s first level it’s well covered with foliage making it feel true to it’s jungle name. Private plunge pool. The new lap pool and cabanas with the restaurant/bar is great! Beautiful and they okay good music. The food and drinks are pretty good but extremely expensive for Aldea Zama. Like twice the price/ trendy beach front pricing. I wish the Arthouse would include robes and a hair dryer, as well as a large bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival rather than a tiny one. They should also have sugar, salt, & pepper stocked in the kitchen. Just some small things would really go a long way to make for a better extended stay experience.
