★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This historical building is a must if you're visiting Morelia. It's a huge space filled with wonderful artisanal items from the entire region of Michoacán. You will find tons of beautifully crafted pieces to admire or even buy: textiles, jewelry, ceramics, musical instruments, furniture, and many more. The best part is that some artisanal workshops are there, so you can see the artisans at work and have a chat with them. We bought a beautiful handmade rebozo from the artisan's Maria Esperanza and Jesús for a very good price. If textiles are your thing, make a stop visit to their workshop on the first floor.
