Alright for one or two nights but be aware of the noise - get earplugs or otherwise you wont sleep if you are a light sleeper like me. I was lucky to have a 30 hours journey beforehand so one night was tolerable but if you stay longer in Playa, I would not recommend it. Just to loud due to all the parties on the street and music in the morning from the floors.

After being spoiled from the Hilton hotel, I was not sure about this place. But I love this place. It was only cheap but the service was excellent. And the cleaning ladies were soooo nice. The room is small, but good enough for two people. After all, you don't want to stay in the room, but go to the beach. The beach is only two blocks away. And I went scuba diving the whole time. The vegan restaurant is really cute. I think this is like the only place that carries hip and cool :)

This hotel is ideally located one block off La Quinta Avenida. The beach is less than a ten minute walk away and restaurants, shops, and bars abound. Also, for anything you may have forgotten, Wal-Mart is also less than ten minutes away walking. A small breakfast with coffee, fruit, and pastries is included. They bring it to your room in the morning though so if you want to sleep in you may want to request not to have the breakfast. The bed was super comfortable with excellent pillows and the air conditioning was fabulous. The room was spacious with a clothes organizer, desk and fridge. I returned to a sparkling clean room each day. The staff are excellent. I would definitely return.

Great hotel, boutique type. Right in the heart of playa. If you like to visit nightclubs you will not find better location. Rooms are very clean, gentle staff, and the hotel has a small a cozy pool in the roof top. Very recommended!

Terrible experience at this hotel. The power went out for hours at night, no A/C or flushing toilet and front desk said that "the power was out" on the whole block which turned out not to be true - just this hotel. I had to check out at midnight and find another place to stay in Playa del Carmen in the middle of the night, super dangerous and I ended up paying over $100 to find another spot on short notice. They wouldn't refund me when I asked and I had to return the next day and spend over an hour on the phone with Expedia to get a refund. I had to come back in person and wait over 30 minutes for them to "confirm" with Expedia even though I paid in cash. Extremely poor on every level - there are dozens of better hotels in PDC. Avoid if you don't want to spend the night in a 90 degree room with no A/C or no power. Worst experience in a hotel in Mexico, and that's saying something.

Small rooms, toilet not working, dripping faucet, lack of towels. Nice staff though

Really nothing wrong about this hotel except the fact that they charge an additional 5% if you pay by card which is completely unethical. Maybe if it was stated somewhere when booking I could let it slide. Be aware there might be a lot of noise at night from bars around the hotel but as me you might be expecting that and not see it as an issue.

When we were in this hotel there were two girls who offered us a FANTASTIC service, I thought the hotel was theirs, go with the total security that Antonella and Valentina will make you feel as if you were the most special guests of the hotel!
