★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come here once or twice a week. Very friendly owners and tasty dishes. I like the green chutney which comes with meat samosas and mutton rogan josh is my favorite main course. You can ask for any level of spiceness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am dying for this food and it's only been a week. This is the best Indian food that I have ever found after eating it many many places and cooking it myself. We have nothing like this on cozymel so unfortunately I will have to go back and forth and buy a lot for my freezer! The service and the food is the best. I had spicy lamb which just Tingled the taste buds and then subsided for the next bite...
Amazingly beautiful complex combination and preparation of spices. Amazing amazing lamb-filled samosas... and not the same old potatoes and lentils everywhere. The naan and the palak (spinach) paneer were way way way above average. I so want some right now I can't stand it! Go there for Great Northern Indian food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Samosa was good. The chicken saag was a bit blend but not bad. Just missing some flavour. A bit pricy. Asking for tip several times is a big no go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great indian food. Have a few vegan options, none of the naans are vegan but they are aware about what's vegan and very helpful. They can do the food in a few spicy levels, but even the lil bit is quite spicy so ask for none if you don't like your mouth burned

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place left much to be desired. The combination of the spices was not correct. Something was off something was missing garam masala or garlic. The portion size were very small and the naan bread was about a quarter of the size of a normal Indian restaurant. For a combination plate and a water it was 265 pesos. They better be glad that they're in Playa del Carmen and not Queens New York. You serve that type of food in Queens you go out of business. I was hoping for so much more but the overall experience was a complete disappointment. Anybody that recommends this place really does not understand Indian cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love Indian food and saw that the menu had many veggie options; were looking forward to a vegetarian curry. Wow were we surprised to find that the veggie curry has no fresh vegetables in it whatsoever!! only DEFROSTED veggies! .... in the blandest curry sauce we've ever tasted!! Dont trust the positive reviews-- the food here is truly bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fair pricing for Indian food in Playa. See my menu photo and get an idea of the prices. Seems very popular for takeout so order before peak times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant with bright lights but cute enough. Air conditioning. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I had palaak paneer and my husband had chicken tikka masala, samosas, raita, rice, garlic naan and natural naan. Our entrees were good enough, agree with another review that something was missing. The level of heat was perfect but some spice or salt or something was missing, a little bland for Indian food. And the rice was not aromatic. Nothing was bad just wasn’t as flavorful as other Indian food I have had. The samosas were super yummy as was the raita.
