Estafan a la gente, toman reservas sin vehículos disponibles, rechazan reservaciones un dia antes o el mismo día y no devuelven el dinero porque esta "dentro de sus políticas de cancelacion". Una vergüenza, no recomiendo la empresa. Me estafaron con usd150.
They scam people, take reservations without available vehicles, reject reservations a day before or the same day and do not return the money because it is "within their cancellation policies". A shame, I do not recommend the company. I was scammed out of usd150.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Renters BEWARE! Rented a car in Playa del Carmen The one that is on the Federal freeway. Erika was nice at first. I spoke to her in several occasions asking about price and extension for one more day. Erika had multiple opportunities to clearly explain to me the timeframe of when the car needed to be turned in. She NEVER explained to me that turning the car in a few hours later would make my final bill jump 60$!!!! Not only was I upset they were EXTREMELY rude to me and my parents about explaining why the bill jumped claiming that I needed to read 3 whole papers filled with tiny fonts to avoid the misunderstanding. These people took over an Hour to give me my car and then to take it back! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever! Do NOT rent there!!!!!!!!! Add to all this that my bank sent me multiple alerts of fraud so the transaction was declined twice. The SUPER rude and Unprofessional guy (which sadly I don’t remember his name) had the guts to tell me that it was because I didn’t have enough funds. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Had a great experience with this location. I worked on a cruise ship and used this company twice. Great customer service. A little pricey and the second time I used them, they charged me for the ride to the ferry terminal. Still, very professional staff and accommodating.

This has been the best experience I had with car rental. Quick and proper car pick up after reserving online, quick return without any issues. Staff professional, attentive and helpful. I would want to be able to book a specific car model in the future but it looks like currently this is not possible due to the company procedures.

We had an extremely frustrating experience at this rental dealership. We made a booking through Expedia the night before, and that evening I received a call to confirm my booking. I showed up the next morning, and the pickup went extremely well. The lady was friendly, spoke good English and was efficient. I was very clear that I wanted to decline all additional insurance and add-ons, and she walked us through the paperwork, stating where I needed to sign. When I returned that evening, upon payment, the amount was much more than by base rate I was expecting to pay. When I queried the charge, the gentleman explained that I had opted for additional roadside coverage + other add-ons. Thinking back to the morning, the lady had very strategically walked me through the paperwork, intentionally skipping over these additional charges she had added, which I had missed during my review. When I explained this to the gentleman, he become extremely aggressive, condescending and rude. He made comments like "Well is this your signature? You agreed to this charge - why would you sign something without reading what you are signing?" This whole situation felt very well rehearsed, and we felt very ripped off/scammed.

Schedule a rental Van for 2 days, we arrived at the location at the hour we specified to pickup the vehicle. The Van was not ready, they have to bring it from a location one hour away. Two hours later we got the Van WITH A $140 Dollars insurance. We returned the van two days later with no issues. 5 days later when I came back to the United States, there was a charge for 2790.00 dollars on my credit card. When I called my credit card to enquire, I was told that it looks like instead of charging me $140.00 dollars that converted to pesos is 2790 pesos. Avis charged my credit card $2790 dollars. Is being two weeks and still not gotten a resolution as I need to wait up to 20 days.. THIS CRAZY... Very unhappy with this rental company and their processes.
