Awe Spa @ The Grand

Excellent!! Loved my service and therapist! The spa is absolutely amazing and a must on your next visit to The Grand!

I went to the Awe Spa at Sunrise Moon Palace in Cancun. I wanted a facial so sat with service rep who helped set up appointment. I informed him I was interested in a facial to remove all the grime from work as A nurse and earring a mask for 12&1/2 hours. He recommended the rejuvenation facial. However, it was not what I expected. Normally, w a facial they use implements to assist w cleaning the face. This was the first time not face did not feel as if all the toxins were removed. Received a lot of rubbing. But not cleansing. I did not receive the advice nor type of facial I wanted. I’m giving 3 stars.

Absolutely a GRAND experience!! The best use of my resort credits! So a great part is you get the water tour with any service. Mercedes was who walked me through and she really went above and beyond. She explained every step. Kept me hydrated and made sure to offer me every extra amenity to take my experience to the next level. The various temperature experiences, water pressures, aromatherapy, and more were both invigorating and relaxing! I actually took the polar plunge and it was surprisingly a great experience. After my water tour, I got a facial so good that I feel asleep. Then a pedicure that took off the massive layers of Covid social distancing build up on my feet. My skin looked and felt great, my face was renewed, and my spirit was relaxed. And the spa supplies healthy snacks, drinks, coffee, and even mimosas. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself

I had the most relaxing, unique and rejuvenating spa experience here at Awe spa complemented by unprecedented excellence in service. The decor/environment was breathtakingly beautiful.

Pretty much the only good experience I had at this resort. It's ridiculously expensive though. **good place to get a coffee even if you aren't coming to the spa**

It was so relaxing I couldn’t help but to fall asleep. See weed wrap followed by the couples massage and facial. My skin is smoother than a babies bottom. The service was excellent, however you must arrive to take full advantage of all the extras. Rejuvenation treatment, steam room sauna and more.

I received a complimentary 25 min back massage at the spa during my stay at the Grand. It was one of the best massages I have ever received.. The day of my massage I was told to arrive 30 min early. The attendant checked my temperature and led me to the check in desk. I was treated to a refreshing watermelon shot and led back to the locker room. I was given a robe and shower slippers and was then escorted to the shower room. After taking a quick shower I was led into the sauna room. There were hot stone chairs to relax in but I opted for the 10 min dry hot sauna and then 5 min cold sauna hydrotherapy. If you are ever here definitely go for the saunas. It was amazing. I was then led to a relaxation room where my therapist met me soon after I sat down. Her name was Beatriz and she did a fantastic job. My only complaint is that the massage was just 25 min... I would have happily been there for an hour or more. I was soo relaxed that when she took me back to the relaxation room I fell asleep in the nearest seat I could find. It was absolutely wonderful. The spa overall is huge. There are over 60 rooms but it is still a calming space. They have a huge pool with hot and cold pools that you can lounge around in all day if you like. Worthy note is the Awe Spa Cafe. This is to the right of the entrance. They have a wonderful assortment of healthy snacks and smoothies. The fruit and yogurt Parfaits are quite tasty and the smoothies hit the spot after my treatment. It isn't usually busy being tucked away from the main lobby, which I like. The staff is friendly and very attentive. This is the perfect place to grab a drink or bite after hitting the gym across the hall too. So, if you ever at the Grand and want to refresh yourself, definitely book a spa treatment and then head over to the Cafe for a perfect pampered day!

I used a couple of services. One day I only did the hydration therapy, and it was an experience in itself. From the steam room, ice room, aroma therapy shower, all of that, was absolutely rewarding. I had an opportunity to later get the sea weed wrap. I think I fell asleep!! From the second o checked in, to my hydrotherapy prior to my treatment…I was guided through every step. The tea, to top my day, was a treat. The snack bar outside, in the waiting room, is a must, as well. I was treated like royalty. The services—ALL of them, we’re absolutely amazing too notch!!! Crossing my fingers to visit again!
