Food is great and tasty. Big portions according to price. Not lot of parking space.

Their specialty is meat. Great burgers, have a beer, wine, etc etc with your meal. Very reasonable prices!!

Great service and fantastic dishes. There's something for anyone! Also, the available drinks is quite good, and service is really nice!

Vacío steak was excellent. Papas and the salsas were amazing: very flavorful. Yanquis, like me, will want to order your steak a little more done than you would back in the USA.

food is good and i like the chill in this place, but they messed up our orders giving us the wrong burgers the taste was good, tho I would recommend another type of cheese (they use american cheese, queso amarillo) when ordering extra cheese

Well...Every restaurant has good days and bad days...let's start with the time and scene of my experience with Balboa Moctezuma. It's Friday night,8 ish,we were a group of 7.Place looks not really busy.it has an open kitchen in a covered patio,with the parrilla seating is casual,wood chairs and benches with cushion,fairly comfortable. Started with drinks,ordered a bottle of Corona light 710ml,sorry not available,switched for Stella 355ml. My colleagues ordered entrees consistent of, Queso fundido with chistorra, very good Panela asada with chimichurri,very tasty and with original flavor added with sweet peppers grilled Order of Guacamole Veronica Avluv an extra of chicharrones, kind of bland First item ordered ...no go Go for food,some of my colleagues 3 of them ordered the Porter House Alto choice 500 gms,so I decided to go with the flow and ordered one for myself.order taken with a side of papas cambray In a minute,bad news came ..we run out of it. Second item ordered...no go Switched for Vacio Alto choice 400gms.same side dish. Now,I ordered with a term of 3/4 done with a line of red,I already knew that it will take a while... Surprisingly,it came a few minutes later..,shaking on the plate,proof enough of not being cooked to my liking. Returned and asked for more specific cooking instructions... Time went by,my piece of meat returned,now in black and blue term.. Asked again to filet or butterflied to ensure cooking..out it goes again. Returned in pieces , squares,some well done some 3/4.. Asked for chimichurri,.. Dried parsley,no garlic little oregano mostly oil no vinegar no pepper. Basic sauce,easy to make and store.not for this place.... I'm starving so I eat... For desserts .the options are not that many Creme brulee, cheesecake, tiramisu,small apple pie. Went for tiramisu...such an easy dessert,so hard to screw up.but , no..the lady fingers were chocolate flavored,the mascarpone cheese was not really present and if something will differentiate this from a regular chocolate cake was the presence of cocoa on top..and that was my tiramisu moment.. Recap will be that sometimes especially in Cortes type of restaurants ,the speed of the service can be put aside in order to ensure the proper cooking of meats, specially cuts above 300 gms..In this case even tough the quality of the meat was very good,the experience got ruined due to the speed of service,and lack of understanding of terms of cooking..Sorry this time no pics,I was in the mood after all the problems ordering a simple piece of meat cooked 3/4
