Beautiful resort nestled between the mountains and Pacific. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The food at Capri and Japanese restaurant was amazing. Their frozen Mango Margarita(rimmed with Tajin) is very delicious. The buffet food gets monotonous, hopefully it will change. Rooms are spacious with spectacular views.

We came to this places for years, however this is the first time traveling with a baby. They are NOT family friendly hotel. I wouldn’t recommend anyone with small children to come here. The rooms are great, but make it a adults only spot because that’s basically what it is. The service has been horrible. We were locked out of room for 2 hours. Went to the front desk 4 times and was told “someone is coming” my husband had ask our neighbors to jump over the balcony to unlock our room from the back door… mind you… we were on the 5th floor! Not okay! Disappointed.

Pro / Con List Below — Definitely a great place to stay that’s not tough on the wallet. We stayed in the Grand Master Suite (premium level) & they do need to update their amenities. It’s nothing special. Lots of things don’t work properly in the room… But overall, this place is great and definitely a 4 star hotel. I am enjoying my stay. Pros: - Excellent views - Great Staff - Great drinks - Great Pool area / lounging - Fun activities to do close by Cons: - Wifi is terrible! - Food is super unhealthy. Wish they had better options - Tons of stuff broken in the rooms (bath, shower, toilets not flushing) - TV only has Spanish Channels (like what?) - Only provide 2 waters in the room

Service was awesome. Security very attentive, bell and desk super helpful. Clean facilities, this is definitely a place I would love to come back. Kids friendly and fun pools. I didn't like people taking pool towels the night before and waking up before pool is open and rea bring spots. Honestly 70% of chairs no one around seem to know who they belong to.

Wonderful place to stay!!! Everyone on the property was so kind and very helpful! We wanted to shout out the excellent service we receive by Cain and Mario!!! You guys made everything so much easier and I really hope the hotel know how special you are!!! They need a raise pronto!!! Thank you again we will be back❤️?????

The good: The service was superb. Any requests to the staff were immediately done. Food was very decent for an all inclusive and drinks were good as well. The rooms were extremely big and nice, all with sea view and very comfortable. I can recommend this hotel for couples or families. The bad: I stayed in this hotel a long time ago and I remember this hotel as more premium option. I think that this hotel now downgraded the quality of their food and drinks. Rooms used to be better and the beach was also more private. This time the beach was overcrowded with people selling stuff, shabby restaurants and a lot of boats. Therefore the beach was not nice. The place has definitely lost some of its magic.

We just arrived home after nine days at this lovely resort. The location was perfect for us - in a small village away from the craziness of Puerta Vallarta, but still close enough to day trip into the city. There are lots of local activities, including snorkelling, horseback riding, tequila distilleries, and you are close to the botanical gardens. The hotel is older but maintained beautifully. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. The grounds and pools were impeccably maintained and we spent hours there every day. The beach covers the head of the bay and is clean, but used heavily by both tourists and locals. There are restaurants and vendors all along the beach. The hotel food was good, and typical of a nice all inclusive. Everything was fresh and good quality, including at the buffet. We tried three of the four specialty restaurants and all were good. Perhaps our favourite was just the spectacular views from our balcony while having morning coffee - a real tropical paradise.

Pros: Rooms were spacious and very clean. The resort is quite nice with a lovely location. Staff were pretty good. The entertainment was pretty good but didn’t get to see much as I was tending to my sick friends. Cons. The food was horrible! Everyone but me in our 5 person group got really sick. The 2 kids were sick for days. The adults only a day but one had to get a shot of anti nausea meds to stop vomiting plus she was prescribed 4 different drugs to make her feel better. We talked to many people and so many were sick at the resort. Not a good way to spend a week. Don’t eat at the buffet!!!! And we heard a few others got sick from the Japanese restaurant. If you don’t want to get food poisoning don’t stay here!
