Barrica de Fuego - 37897 San Miguel de Allende

El lugar está hermoso,todo impecable,la comida es rica,lo único que falla es el servicio,son pocos los meseros para atender a todos y por eso fallan..Todo lo demás fantastico.

La tabla mix para compartir (Brisket, medio rack de costillar, 2 mini sandwich de pulled pork) acompañada de ensalada, puré de papa y hojuelas de papa. Deliciosa, sin problema pueden compartir entre 3 personas. Su vino Barrica de Fuego Field Blend muy bueno y nada fuerte sí no acostumbras a tomar vino.

Una de más experiencias gastronómicas más completas. El sabor, el término, la calidad de los alimentos son increíbles. Los vinos de la casa muy recomendables. El postre increíble. El lugar tiene un ambiente maravilloso, exclusivo y apartado de la ciudad. El personal muy amable, muy servicial y dispuesto a ayudarte. En la foto se encuentran las costillas, rib eye, ensalada, guarnición de col y puré en papa.

Beautiful place..Great to be in the country in the open air amoungst the vineyards. Great Rib Eye steaks!!, and hungo salad.

Edit. I want this place to do well, the food is really superior to most restaurants, the grounds are beautiful and top notch. They are still unable to stock everything on their menu though. They are so close to being excellent it’s infuriating they can’t keep things in stock to match their menu. I am revising to 4 stars (from 1). Go enjoy this great place, and we will have to forgive them for being truly lazy about keeping things in stock and disappointing our menu selections. Oh well. Be aware, they never ever answer the phone even though you need reservations to assure seating. Just go and the guard at the gate will call the restaurant about seating. 60% of the time you can get a seat. Going earlier when they open, or later (an hour or so before closing) usually gets seats. A nice restaurant and very good food, when they can keep it together. Today everything we picked they were out of... artisanal beer, soup etc. They hardly ever pick up the phone to allow a reservation. This is not the first time either. Somebody wake these guys up, a few lazy staff are destroying the fine efforts of other staff and this very good restaurant.

If are going there to see and have a experience in a winery I just recommend not to do it. There is not that much to see or experience. The staff are really nice and helpful but they don’t know that much about wine. They just started the business and hopefully will get better soon. But if you are going to have a good food, specially different types of steak I recommend it for sure. Very nice ambiance, nice and friendly staff, good service and for sure great food.

Quiet bbq spot right on the winery. Brisket slow cook and amazing ribs done right. Worth the 10 minutes dive out of town.

Excellent food and drinks made from locally sourced fresh ingredients coupled with stellar service. Our waiter took his time to explain the house wines and any questions we had. Highly recommended if you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere.
