Be Tulum exceeded all expectations. This was our first trip to the hotel (and Tulum in general), and we are already planning to return. This was a splurge for us financially, but completely worth it. The resort is stunning (it really looks THAT great in person) and service (including the concierge) was exceptional. The resort is nestled on the southern end of the hotel zone, and just feels so much more a part of the jungle than the resorts further north. The beach is pristine in front of the hotel, and the beach beds and chairs for guests (and stellar waiters taking drink and food orders - may I recommend the Sr. Romero with Hendricks gin for a tasty beach cocktail?) are all you need for a beach day. Our concierge, Sam, helped organize private tours (just the two of us and our guide) to the Coba ruins, a cenote and the Sian Ka'an preserve (which is a must see when you visit Tulum). She had the best restaurant recommendations as well. We were able to text her at any point of our stay and she was always available and helpful. We recommend taking advantage of her helpful advice! Our room (with private rooftop and plunge pool) was clean, spacious, and had a very appealing "vibe." It was the perfect retreat after a day in the sun. The spa was also a great experience. It was private, serene and revitalizing. Consider getting a package for a uniquely Mayan experience. The spa also has a steam room / sauna / hydrotherapy pool circuit you can take advantage of before or after your massage. Finally, don't pay attention to the bad reviews complaining about no refunds/cancellations. Be Tulum is very upfront when making a reservation that there are no cancellations or refunds. We suggest travel insurance for peace of mind in the event you must cancel your travel.

The place itself is really beautiful especially after sunset when the lights in the jungles are one and copal smoke is everywhere, feels really magical. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious and nice designed. However, the food is really dull and lacking taste and presentation. Hibiscus mescalita is one of the best coctails I tried though, hopefully the food can be improved x

The hotel is awesome but there was not hot water on the bath and no one was able to turn off the lights of our terrace so the sleep was not that good. Then in the morning no hot water in the shower. They told us the administrator will contact us. He didn't. I sent an email an his (months after) answer was next time you come you will have 15% discount. Bad service for the hi prices they charge.

although be tulum is a gorgeous hotel, i can’t recommend it to any family or friends. their services are incredibly underwhelming, the staff are (unfortunately) not well trained, and my husband and i caught them overcharging us and adding additional items to our bills several times. when coming to a hotel of this standard, you expect the upmost respect and care to be given in matters of service and billing. when we were checking out there was a room service charge (which we did not order) and the matter took 20 minutes to resolve while our taxi outside was waiting to take us to the airport. when we tried to settle our remaining bill they did it in the local currency, thankfully my husband knew the conversion rate, as again, they tried to overcharge us. truly unacceptable and an overall unpleasant experience.

Totally worth spending 110$ per person. Had an amazing day at the beach. You can choose where you want to sit. Drinks and food are out of this world and our waiter Moses was really kind and helpful. Would come back again.

This hotel and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning. The staff was stellar and concierge, Jonathan, was a great help. I enjoyed the breakfasts each morning, and had fantastic service provided specifically by Reuben. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to issues I had with my room. At almost $1000 a night average, I shouldn't have issues with plumbing, my private pool, or doors that don't open/ close properly. They did finally put me in a different upgraded room for the last night, but it definitely negatively impacted my experience.

We came for the day to spend time in the beach club. The min spend is USD 110 and you can chose a lounge bed/basket. We had very good food throughout the day and were served by Diego who provided excellent, attentive and friendly service. The beach is nice, though seaweed has gotten worse recently.

This place was magical. Staff is really friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were amazing. Our room was like we were in the jungle (room 11), yet the beach was so close. I can’t wait to go back and miss it already. You’re not in the mix of all the loud clubs and people, which was great. It’s a quieter location south from the touristy areas. You can still walk to shops, pharmacy, food etc but may need a cab if you’re looking to really get the nightlife action.
