Berima Playa; Liquor store - 77710 Playa del Carmen

We find this hidden jewel thank to a recommendation from a restaurant that serve us some of their mezcal (La Perla, another place that deserves 5 stars). With booze, like most things in Mexico, the best is spread though the spoken word and this place is no exception. Hands down, they know their Mexican spirits, and if you like mezcal this place it's for you. PS For any apacionado of Mexican spirits, I recommend asking for their sotoles. Encontramos esta joya escondida gracias a la recomendación de un restaurante en le que pedimos algo de mezcal (La Perla, otro lugar que merece 5 estrellas). Con el alcohol, como la mayoría de las cosas en México, lo mejor se transmite a través de la palabra hablada y este lugar no es la excepción. Sin lugar a dudas conocen sus destilados mexicanos, y si te gusta el mezcal, este lugar es para ti. PD Para cualquier apacionado de los destilados mexicanos, les recomiendo pregunta por sus sotoles.

Juan Jose was an amazing help in this gem of a liquor store! So friendly and there's an endless amount of Mexican mezcals, tequilas and even local cervezas!

Fantastic place with an amazing selection of Mexican spirits. Not just tequlia and mescal (but he has plenty of both in excellent quality and range) but also locally produced gin, whiskey, wine, exactly what we were hoping to find. Juan Jose was able to let us try different options and we will be back for certain. Lovely place and excellent service from knowledgeable staff. It's across from where the google maps pin shows currently, look for the window coverings making sure to keep the sun from damaging the products. Thank you!!

Excellent wine selection and outstanding customer service. I walked 2 miles one way from Playacar to go back to this store a second time. There really is no where else to buy wine in Playa del Carmen!

Simply the best. The staff are exceptional and knowledgeable about their great mezcal, tequila, and wine selections. If you’re lucky, they may even pour you a sample. Skip 5th, skip Walmart, go straight to this incredible store!

Was on the hunt for the best tequila and mezcal, was recommended to go here. Amazing experience, such lovely staff, you are making a mistake by not going! Was greated and with in minutes poured a few tasters! Very excited to bring these beautiful bottles home with me, they even bubble wrapped them for the flight! Will definitely be back!!

I found out about this place from Reddit and I’m so glad I checked it out. I got some great local beers and we found some amazing tequila and gin (that the wonderful ladies working there let us taste) and I also found this awesome jicara that I’m now able to drink out of for the first time. I can’t recommend this place enough - the employees were incredibly nice and helpful and their selection was extensive for such a small shop. 100% will visit again next time I’m in town.
