I found Betzy Style on Instagram when I was searching for hair and makeup artists in Cancun. My fiancé booked us a quick last minute trip and when he told me, I thought why not do our engagement photos while we were there. Betzy was super responsive and really easy to get in touch with. When Denisse, HMUA from the team arrived at the hotel, Betzy sent me a photo of her and where she was seated in the hotel lobby so it was really easy for me to find her and I didn’t feel nervous. Denisse was absolutely fantastic; she made me feel completely at ease immediately. She understood exactly what I wanted in terms of makeup and made me look absolutely flawless without looking cakey. My hair held up in the humidity for hours! I couldn’t stop staring at myself once she was finished. I can’t recommend them enough!

Had my wedding in April 2021 at the Royalton riviera Cancun and hired Betzy Styles for me, my mom and a few bridesmaids. My mom was nervous to get her makeup done and so was I, we never had our makeup done before. There were 6 of us that got our hair and makeup done and we were all very happy with the hair and makeup! The makeup stayed all day and was humidity resistant. They were also right on time with everyone and the schedule. Thank you ☺️

I had to replan my wedding entirely from a local Chicago affair to an intimate affair with my immediate family in Mexico due to travel restrictions with my husbands family. I planned a new wedding in less than 3 months, and nervously started sourcing vendors without the benefit of an advanced trial. My experience was the team was so great I offered up a review without a request from them. I found Betzy Styles through Instagram. From the start, the team was responsive, straightforward and organized. I placed my deposit easily through an online payment portal. The team of four women were professional, on time, and completed hair and makeup for 9 women in my group with care. Importantly, we varied in age and ethnicity and they listened to what we wanted, and made sure services enhanced us, not looking artificial and Cakey. They were skilled in customizing to each woman’s needs and listened to what they wanted, instead of applying in a cookie cutter fashion. We were all finished on time without delay, which is important during a wedding day. I place extremely high importance on this as I did not have an opportunity to do hair and makeup trial prior to the day. Every woman in my party noted to me their happiness with their services, and they all have different preferences, which again underscores the tailoring to each woman (some prefer less makeup, others wanted something more glam). I would without hesitation recommend this team.

I booked and paid my deposit (Feb 2021) for hair and makeup for my wedding (Feb 2022). I now have 5 months before my wedding and tried to cancel the services and get a refund of my money. They now tell me I can’t get a refund since they have paid the stylist for services I haven’t gotten yet. In the contract it says I can get a refund if cancelled within the time frame. Now it’s too late to file a dispute with PayPal and my bank, Betzy style refuses to give any of my money back. Ladies beware if you need to cancel, they will not respond to any messages now and I’m also out of the money for myself and 2 of my girls.

I really loved my hair and I think all of the bridesmaids were very happy with their hair as well. It was very easy to book with Betzy and her team. They arrived and got right to work. I believe they were ahead of schedule too. My only concern was that I didn’t see the makeup artists cleaning brushes / sanitizing in between clients. Also the one makeup artist was eating a snack as she was doing makeup. Seemed a little unprofessional. I got my makeup done by my mom who is a makeup artist, so I can’t speak to my experience with the makeup - just what I observed. Overall, happy with the work though. I would hire them again for my hair!
