Bikes rental (inside Mezcal shop) - 97784 Valladolid

AVOID. The bikes cost 100 pesos - with a deposit of 500 (which we got back) but they were so slow (google maps said 20 minutes, took us 40) and we know how to ride bikes. the seats didn't go up or down. they were poorly oiled. It was our bad for not checking or test riding them.

1st of all this place is beautiful! Little vignettes of hand-made and antique sitting areas tucked into a tropical garden! Live music....?BUT, I highly recommend to go with straight mezcal NOT cocktails! The waiter told us the cocktails were made with "natural juice"...I ordered a cucumber & basil with mezcal...My first drink tasted like basil simple syrup with not even a hint of Mezcal...I wasn't expecting any sugar because I thought it would be just cucumber juice with basil & lime as the waiter had said... I reluctantly asked for a remake with no sugar just cucumber and basil & I got a Jumex piña with a hint of cucumber and basil no taste of mezcal again...it was like instant heart burn in a glass... I apologized to the waiter and asked for another remake, I can't stomach boxed pineapple. This time with JUST cucumber & basil this PLEASE! The last attempt was just lime & basil with a hint of cucumber... again no taste of mezcal... and that experience cost me $10! ? I will say that the waiter was very nice and seemed like he was trying to be helpful...But, we definitely left unhappy!

I would not recommend renting a bike from here! My chain broke within the first 20 minutes and I was kilometers away, I needed to ask strangers for help to take me to a bicycle repair. When I returned the bike I told them I had to pay to get the bike repaired and they did not care at all. Good thing other kind people were able to help me or else I would have had spend awhile walking my bike back to the shop. There are other places nearby with bikes that looked better, these bikes were so slow. Make sure you get a number you can call if there is a problem
