★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for really good coffee and friendly service, this is not the place. My wife and I just wanted regular coffees with cream and sugar. Apparently you have to specify that you want cream when ordering. Otherwise you'll have to go back to the counter, catch an attitude from the staff and wait and additional 15 minutes and then pay extra for cream. And it's not a language issues as my wife is Mexican and fluent in Spanish. Bathrooms were also not maintained with soap and paper towels which I've seen in other reviews. We're never going back. There are plenty of other good choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Black Coffee is the closest thing to a Starbucks in the Lake Chapala area. It is modern, clean, and spacious, with a good selection of beverages and eats. Perhaps the main reason to love Black Coffee, though, is one especially unique offering - it's air conditioned!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How lovely to watch the world pass by on a shaded patio as you relax with a tasty beverage...with your DOG! :-0) Very friendly staff, quick but quality service, nice atmosphere, tables spaced out enough so you don’t need to overhear another’s conversation, and clean bathrooms. We’ve had the decaf americano and the mocha...yum!
