★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is still a foreign idea to me (all inclusive) to simply walk up to a bar and ask for and get virtually anything you ask for, say thanks and walk away. You can and we sometimes do, leave tips, but its not mandatory

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this place is really called gourmex so I'll be reviewing gourmex. This was the best a la carte restaurant experience while staying at Sandos Playacar. Each dish was delicious. We had queso fundito and seafood cerviche for starters, tortilla soup next, and then duck mole as well as chicken Pibil for the mains. We finished with a dark chocolate cake. Recommend every dish we ordered and would come to this restaurant multiple times the next time we stay.
