Boho Hotel - 77780 Tulum

This is nothing more than „camping“ in a hut with mosquito nets. Very noisy surroundings (generators running the whole night, very close to Main Street, construction ongoing), smelly (we had the hut next to the MamaSan restaurant, since they cook on a charcoal grill, it smelled like BBQ during the time the kitchen was open / sometimes it smelled like sewage, not mangroves). No water for quite a while in the morning. Windows cannot be closed since no A/C in room! Just no-gos for that price. As a consequence we decided to leave after one of three nights. Manager was not present when we left, but confirmed via WhatsApp that he started the procedure of refunding the already payed two nights with the booking platform. After the vacation I tried to get the money back via the booking platform, but the manager complained that we did not cancel the remaining nights (which we actually tried but it was not possible). As the manager knew about our early departure at 9am after the first night and confirmed that he will take care of the cancellation, he could have rented out the room to new guests and refunding us. This is worst customer service experience ever - nothing to recommend!
