Great location - two blocks from Chedrui and four from Mega. Several places (restaurants) to snorkel and swim close by for just the price of a drink and snack. Able to walk to downtown. Lots of restaurants close by. Enjoyed that it was a smaller complex. Got to know the others staying there - conversations around the pool. Addition of the BBQ in the courtyard was a benefit. Dennis is a great host. Always available for help and local recommendations. Sylvia's restaurant serves fantastic breakfasts. Super clean establishment. Comfortable bed. Equipped kitchen. Highly recommend.

My wife and I spent a week and a half staying at Villa Deja Blue on a dive trip this month. Dennis was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. His wife Sylvia runs a great restaurant on site where we had breakfast several times while staying there. He even drove me to the marina on our first day of diving before we were able to pick up our rental car. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a more boutique hotel experience in Cozumel - much better than the big hotels!

Wonderfully unpretentious place to enjoy all that Cozumel has to offer -- well located, with simple yet commodious furnishings and amenities. Dennis and Silvia are delightful hosts. Villa Deja Blue is truly a hidden gem of the island.

We first stayed here about 10 years ago and recently stayed again in Jan 2021. This facility is well kept. Clean rooms and friendly service. They have a very nice salt water pool that is well maintained and a restaurant on site that serves a yummy breakfast with generous portions as well. They are within walking distance to a local grocery store that also sells clothes and has a pharmacy. If your planning a trip to Cozumel, I would highly recommend Hotel Villas Deja blue & Restaurant.

We stayed at Deja Blu in Feb of 2021. This is an AMAZING place to stay! Spacious room, nice living room, nice kitchen, great pool, and Silvia and Dennis are amazing hosts! Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

We recently spent 4 nights/five days at Villa Deja Blue. The quaint property was well located, away from all the hustle and bustle on the main road. The property is well kept after, and it shows in its presentation at arrival and during your stay. We did a lot of walking and found the neighborhood had many beautiful homes in the area and we always found it to be very safe during the day or night. Dennis is an excellent host and Silvia has an excellent small restaurant on the property. They are both delightful people. We would stay there again since we like to be in Cozumel during the quieter times.

A group of friends and I stayed here for 5 nights while we were in town for a few days of diving. Villa Deja Blue was a perfectly acceptable choice for our stay—it only has 6 rooms, so it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. The rooms are clean and well kept (although there wasn’t any shampoo/conditioner so would recommend bringing your own). The pool was a great feature. Dennis was extremely friendly. The one downside is that the location is a bit far from Cozumel Centro (but not unreasonable—it was usually a 10-20 min walk to most places we went for dinner). Taxis were usually easy to get by walking a few blocks to the main road, but if I stayed here again I’d opt to rent a vehicle to make getting around a bit easier. My biggest qualm with the place itself was the wifi was less than ideal.

I was having lunch at Sylvia's restaurant that is part of the same building as the hotel. I was searching for another place to stay since the rental we had down the street was a true "bait and switch" situation. While eating my excellent lunch I noticed the hotel next door and asked Sylvia if they had any rooms available (high season). They had a cancellation just the day before so I asked to see the room (1 bedroom with kitchen and living room) and found it perfect for our needs. All comfortable and functional. Desks and multiple internet connections for us which was nice since we work remotely. The hotel is very well kept with impeccable grounds and lovely sparkling pool. Rinse area for dive equipment. Dennis was always around for help with any questions and a nice chat. It is a quick walk to downtown or the beach. very safe neighborhood (although all of cozumel is safe). We would absolutely stay again.
