★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has everything to get a nice day without leaving Mexico City. You have the flower market that requires almost half of day in order to complete a tour it is simply amazing what all they have. Then you have several typical option inside or outside the forest to eat from good restaurants to the common Mexican food or Mexican ice cream. Lots of fun like horseriding and plenty of space for kids and families plus the fact that you are one step away from Nativitas and Zacapa pier which make this perhaps the best choice at Xochimilco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my first visit to Xochimilco. We had to walk quite a bit to get to the dock but it was worth it. The fare for an hour trip in the trajinera was $500 pesos which for us was expensive cause we were only two. But if you go with a large group of family and friends, price will be worthwhile. Don't forget to take your own beers and refreshments, and whatever you want to eat. You can buy everything there but it will be more expensive. You can even bring your speakers to enjoy your music. If you have enough budget, you'll be able to afford the mariachis. Be ready to have a great day.
