Boxito is filled with everything you need for construction and do it yourself projects. It is a Bodega style place so while some items are on display, others are just in inventory behind the desk so always ask for what you need. They have nice selection of floor and bath tile as well as faucets and bath fixtures, lighting options, hot water heaters, a/c's and pumps of all kinds. Great place!

Good display of products for sale. Very clean showroom. Prices on the high end compared to Home Depot in Playa or Costco in Cancun. Bought a calentador.

If I had the money, I'd build a Home Depot right next door. Unfortunately, the reality is that this is about the only place to get anything house related on the island. They are inventory control fanatics. You can't buy products off the shelf. You have an arcaic system where you order, then pay, then wait in another place for you items that need to be sorted, tested and counted. Then acknowledged by signing copies. Last week I bought a copper fitting that was given to my by the clerk after the intense inspection process. Well the fitting was cracked when I got home. Had to go back and get another one. While in the process I had to buy a one meter copper pipe. Well sorry amigo, we are doing inventory and can't sell you anything else. I thought inventory was done after hours, and not in broad daylight? Then I had to go to the other store and by the pipe. May you need an attorney also if you order a light socket and bulb, (which I did) and the bring you the wrong color housing. The manager who was not in st the time had to cancel my order, then make another order for the correct color housing. 1 hour later, I got my light fixture. It's a shame that in the 21st century, these guys at Boxito are stuck in the stone age when it comes to service and quality.
