!!!!ESTAFA!!! FRAUDE!!! Alquilo un coche, me lo cobran y confirmo el día de antes de viajar que está todo ok. Me mandan la documentación y la confirmación de la reserva. Me dicen que dentro del aeropuerto está el mostrador y que allí puedo recoger mi coche. Hasta aquí todo normal y ok. Llegamos a Mazatlan, en todos los mostradores de otras compañías de alquiler había gente trabajando excepto en Budget. Esperamos unos 20 minutos y al ver que no venia nadie, nos indican que vayamos fuera del Aeropuerto a buscarles. Ya empezamos mostrando poca profesionalidad pero bueno, cogemos nuestras maletas y nos dirigimos a buscar el parking de budget. Llegamos y al indicar que tenemos una reserva confirmada y cobrada nos dicen que lo sienten pero que se les han acabado los coches. Perdón????? Y con toda naturalidad , no te agobies que no eres la única llevamos todo el día diciéndoselo a todos los que venís. Y yo intento razonar que debe de haber un malentendido porque yo tenía un coche reservado, confirmado y cobrado en mi cuenta bancaria. Respuesta: bueno es que en temporada alta estas cosas pasan, viene mucha gente y los coches se acaban! Ok, por favor dame una solución. Respuesta : busca otra compañía y otro coche de alquiler.( por supuesto a otro precio mucho más alto del que ya habías pagado y con el trastorno de tiempo perdido, maletas para arriba y para abajo). No estamos de acuerdo con la solución y pedimos hablar con el encargado . Respuesta: No está y no le puedo llamar, porque ya sabe para que le voy a llamar y no me va a coger el teléfono. Me dice E. Que mañana le entran coches en playa dorada y que A Lo Mejor puedo tener suerte y conseguir uno pero que por supuesto no me lo puede garantizar y que mejor llame antes. Lo siento , ustedes me habéis causado un problema ahora , ustedes me tenéis que dar una solución hoy, que es cuando necesito el coche. Tras mucho insistir y mucho llamar, conseguimos una hora después que el Sr. Eligió Correa nos coja el teléfono. Comienza echándole la culpa al empleado que me confirmó la reserva, que es una práctica habitual hacer overbooking de coches por si luego les fallan las personas que han reservado no quedarse con los coches parados, y que es mejor hacer la reserva en persona y no en internet que estas cosas pasan. Y que anule la reserva, y haga una reclamación para la devolución del dinero y busque otra compañía para alquilar. Aquí ya me muestro bastante frustrada y le comento que no estoy de acuerdo con esta solución. Yo he hecho mi trabajo correctamente, he alquilado un coche, he pagado el precio que se me ha pedido y lo he confirmado el día de antes para evitar sorpresas y que tengo toda la documentación conmigo. Que Budget me ha generado un problema, que aún teniéndote todos mis datos personales no me ha avisado que de esto estaba ocurriendo y que ahora no puede desentenderse y seguir malgastando mi valioso tiempo. Su respuesta ya es con una actitud totalmente pasota, si no quieres perder más tu tiempo haz lo que te digo y ya . Se flexible y búscate otra compañía, dale. Fin de la conversación. Ante eso, ya desesperada y muy triste, pido una hoja de reclamaciones para dejar constancia del problema para luego la denuncia y por supuesto no tienen nada. Como ya no me fío vamos a buscar a la policia del aeropuerto para que tenga constancia del incidente. Habla con la trabajadora E. Y tampoco entiende que es lo que está pasando. Y nos indica los pasos para denunciar al consumidor. Para poder justificar que hemos estado allí, le pido un justificante de la empresa como que llevamos ya 3 horas con este problema. Tras mucho insistir la empleada E. Nos hace un escrito que no quiere firmar por miedo a tener que testificar o enfrentarse con su jefe. Así q nos hace un garabato y no conseguimos que nos ponga ni sello ni membrete de la empresa, alegando que no tiene nada. Final: 3 horas de nuestro tiempo invertido, gastos extra de un taxi al hotel y otro mañana a playa dorada por si hubiese suerte, así que nos vamos sitiendonos TOTALMENTE ESTAFADOS POR BUDGET!!!!

We arrived in Mazatlan, at all the counters of other rental companies there were people working except Budget. We waited for about 20 minutes and when we saw that no one was coming, they told us to go outside the Airport to look for them. We already started showing little professionalism but well, we took our suitcases and went to look for the budget parking. We arrived and when indicating that we have a confirmed and charged reservation they tell us that they are sorry but that they have run out of cars. Sorry????? And quite naturally, do not be overwhelmed that you are not the only one we have been telling all those who come all day. And I try to reason that there must be a misunderstanding because I had a reserved, confirmed and charged car in my bank account. Answer: well, in high season these things happen, many people come and the cars run out! Ok, please give me a solution. Answer: look for another company and another rental car (of course at a much higher price than what you had already paid and with the disorder of lost time, suitcases up and down). We do not agree with the solution and ask to speak to the manager. Answer: He is not here and I cannot call him, because he already knows what I am going to call him for and he is not going to pick up the phone. E. tells me that tomorrow he will get cars on the golden beach and that I may be lucky and get one but of course he cannot guarantee it and that he better call before. Sorry, you have caused me a problem now, you have to give me a solution today, that is when I need the car. After much insisting and much calling, we got an hour after Mr. Eligió Correa picked up the phone. It begins by blaming the employee who confirmed the reservation, which is a common practice to do overbooking of cars in case they later fail the people who have booked not to stay with the cars stopped, and that it is better to make the reservation in person and not in internet that these things happen. And to cancel the reservation, and make a claim for money back and find another company to rent. Here I am already quite frustrated and I comment that I do not agree with this solution. I have done my job correctly, I have rented a car, I have paid the price that has been asked of me and I have confirmed it the day before to avoid surprises and that I have all the documentation with me. That Budget has caused me a problem, that even having all my personal data has not warned me that this was happening and that now it can not ignore and continue to waste my valuable time. His answer is already with a totally passive attitude, if you do not want to waste your time any more, do as I say and that's it. Be flexible and find another company, go ahead. End of conversation. Given that, already desperate and very sad, I ask for a complaint form to record the problem and then report it and of course they have nothing. Since I no longer trust him, we are going to look for the airport police so that they have a record of the incident. He talks to worker E. And he doesn't understand what is happening either. And it indicates the steps to report the consumer. In order to justify that we have been there, I ask you for a proof of the company as we have been with this problem for 3 hours. After much insisting the employee E. She writes us that she does not want to sign for fear of having to testify or confront her boss. So he scribbles us and we cannot get him to put a stamp or letterhead on the company, claiming that he has nothing. End: 3 hours of our time invested, extra expenses of a taxi to the hotel and another one to Playa Dorada in case of luck, so we are going to be TOTALLY SCAMED BY BUDGET !!!!

Extemely dissafied with the service here. The opening hour is at 7am and no one was here until 7:30-7:45am. After the worker arrived he said that our van was returned late and it was not even on the lot and that they would have to bring the van from another location. He refused to contact his manager and said he was out of the office and if we called he would not be able to help. Very unprofessional and lack of customer service. Be prepared to be held up for at least an hour or two for either lack of your PRE-reserved car or lack of workers showing up at the posted business hours.

If possible avoid renting a vehicle from this establishment. The worker present was very unprofessional. We arrived early in the morning to pick up a reservation. They opened at 7am and no one showed up until almost 8am. They also said that since it was the holiday season they didn’t have our vehicle. One that we had already paid for. The worker said they prioritize people who reserve “on the spot” which is absolutely ridiculous. Highly dissatisfied and will definitely take my business elsewhere for future trips. Not recommended.

We had booked a car through a online booking program. Arrived at the airport and were looking for a budget rep...after waiting and finally calling them they told us they had no more cars and they wouldn't for a few days. They would however call us the next day. They never did and when we called them back to discuss options they blocked our phone number. We had originally booked for a week but were also looking for long term for up to 4 months . Talked to the folks at thrifty car rental next door and they gave us a great rate and a beautiful full size car!

Minimum coverage is obligatory to purchase even though the contract has the option to decline all coverage. We made the rental reservation online and no where did it state that we needed to purchase a coverage. They wouldn’t let us rent the car without purchasing the coverage which I know other companies like Enterprise allows you to decline. At the end the lady gave us a “discount” but I still felt scammed by them.
