Budget - 58920 Morelia

If I could give negative stars I would, worst experience, I have made my reservation a week prior asked to be updated so I could pick up the car later as my flight landed later than what I initially thought (4days ago) instead they cancelled my reservation and they don’t have more cars... Budget you suck!!!!!!

Poor service fighting with my credit card since they r refusing to give back my deposit turn in the car with out damage n clean will never rent off budget in the us or Mexico

Guadalupe and Enrique both provided excellent customer service before and after the rental process. The car provided met my expectations in terms of cosmetics as travelling through small town in rural Mexico you want the least amount of attention possible. The car ran great and efficient. All in all my experience with the rental and customer service was great. I will rent from this location again when I'm back in Morelia.

I was really impressed with the services provided. Budget was the only rental agency that had a car "ready" for me at the time that I needed it. The price was reasonable and the car was efficient for what I needed. The car was not in the greatest shape but that was okay with me and it made me less anxious driving around crazy drivers in Mexico. The staff were friendly and easy to work with. They even had a 24 hr number that I was able to call and request additional days of car rental services. Very happy with my decision to use Budget. I now know where to rent a car the next time I need a rental car in Mexico!

I reserved a car for 13 day for $290 when I get to their office I give señor Guadalupe my info later he told me they have to locked 95 thousand pesos out my credit card and and buy insured for the car for 10900. Soo I declined the car he got mad….

My experience with the car lot guy was horrible very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. The vehicle that I went to pick up was dirty in and out and seats were torn and stained. I asked to get a different vehicle and the employee at the car lot was like no. That’s the vehicle you’re getting. I was like excuse me that vehicle is not in ready conditions to drive off. He said go to the office and cancel your contract. I was like why would I do that if you plenty of vehicles for me to select. No go to the office and cancel your contract. So I went back to the office and requested a different vehicle and it was granted. When I drove the vehicle to the gas station Pemex at Pueblo Álvaro Obregón, the breaks were bad I can hear the disc rotors when I braked. The next day in the am I realized that the 2 back tires were literally bald no thread. So I drove the vehicle back to the airport and explained the 2 issues with the car lot guy. He chuckled and said go to the office and cancel your contract. I was like no I will request another vehicle. The guy at the office said go back to the car lot and pick another vehicle. Third time’s the charm. They are so shady at the car lot. Be safe people.

I’m not posting 1 star simply because the guys where pleasant to deal with. The car I rented desperately needed suspension, mechanical and interior work. The cars look like they been through hell. They also have the audacity to ask for a 95k pesos deposit when you choose not to get their insurance. Read the other comments and go elsewhere.

Don’t rent here, I rented online on Expedia and even paid for the Expedia travel guard which Budget doesn’t honor, and would cover me for more than the cost of the car. The man at the counter asked me for a 4000$ USD as a security deposit because I didn’t buy insurance through them. I will never rent from budget again.
