Bungalows Alcaraz - 28863 Manzanillo

Very nice place, really close to the beach, awesome pool with a gorgeous view. Only thing that bothered me was the lack or air conditioning, I believe an AC would help the landlords save money as they have four different fans running 24/7 instead of a single fan on an AC.

Close to local bars (HOA) and playa Miramar (15 minute walk) the bungalows are spacious with newly renovated kitchens and bathrooms. There is a rooftop terrace that over looks the ocean and mountains with lots of lounge seating that is great for having a tamarind margarita while watching the sunset. Early afternoons can be spent by the pool or reading a book in the shade of the common lounge area. The host is very responsive to requests and inquiries and speaks fluent English. He or one of his attentive staff are always around. Usually the other tenants are fairly quiet, so this location is conducive to a very relaxing get away. The bungalows and Manzanillo are a hidden gem; very friendly locals, and a welcome respite from other tourist trap towns.

I don't know what everyone else was on when they were writing these reviews must be the excessive bleach in the pool impairing their memory. To start of this place is full of roaches and bedbugs. I saw the biggest roach ive ever seen in my life while I was taking a shower and two crabs.The pool water is half bleach my eyes were burning red when I tried to swim and my skin had these weird spots after two days. There is no AC in the rooms and the temperatures reach upwards of 90 degrees most days so I had to sleep in the outside patio area. I explained to the staff my bathroom was dirty and they had the audacity to hand me bleach, a broom, toilet brush, and a mop. Incredible.

It's okay. The pool is very nice. There are still some things that could have been better, like the restrooms or A/C. Overall, a very nice, quiet and clean place.

Great value for the view! Nice bungalow, pool, terrace and friendly staff. Stayed over a week and the area seems peaceful and calm.

This place is great! Newly renovated kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, clean/quiet private pool and only steps from the beach and local markets/restaurants. The owner is extremely responsive and is fluent in English. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a safe and more authentic experience in Manzanillo!

Great place..clean...kitchen is furnished with necessities including a blender..our bungalow has it's own private terrace with a small sofa and chairs . With ocean view..2 bathrooms ...ac in both bedrooms with remote.. we came here the 1st time 15 years ago...and we keep coming back ....we hate to leave today..but. ..thank you for your kind hospitality and we look forward to coming back again... Oh one last thing love the sound of the ocean at 4am while sitting out on our private terrace off our bedroom...nothing more delightful....

A little tough to find the first time, the GPS takes you yo another street. However, the staff was very courteous and guided us to the correct spot. The place is clean and comfortable with a pool and the beach is just 150 meters away and the host has a spot on the beach just for his guests with a free umbrella.
