★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coffee is good and strong but staff is rude most of the time. I now just go in to pick up my delicious bread.
I've heard the complaint from other expats. This is unlike the friendly climate of most places in SMA.
I've been taking my business elsewhere and so have many of my friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stay in San Miguel for 35 days a year and we absolutely enjoy the bread and pastry items twice a week, every week...I just can’t do without my toast each morning made from buonforno bakery..the almond croissants are heavenly.. have a coffee here and relax viewing some of the art on display

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best bakery in town. Delicious rye and multigrain, yummy focaccia on Fridays. Incredible almond croissants. Very friendly staff, beautiful art work by local artists whose studios are above the bakery, and several cute tables where you can sit and have a cappuccino while enjoying your bakery treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people working there are so helpful and friendly. Their version of sourdough bread (masa madre) is made in a variety of bread styles from loafs to baguettes which usually sell out by 11:30 a.m. The bread shown in the photograph is great for making panini sandwiches. I have tried several bakeries in town and this one is definitely on the top of my list.
