and perfectly located less than a 1km from the Calakmul main entrance. Hot water, mosquito net, good mattress, a hammock and the birds singing wake u up. Emiliano is the man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used this as our base to visit Calakmul very early the next day. All staff is very friendly and accomodating. It’s ideally located next the entrance road to Calakmul (a few hundred meters from the ejido gates). We had dinner on site which was good and wasn’t too expensive. We didn’t have hot water in our cabaña and wifi apparently just works in the parking lot, but other than that it is all good. We asked to have breakfast at 6am so we could be on our way at 6:15 and that was all good. Perfect start to the day with coffee, different types of eggs and toast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate dinner here after leaving the biosphere (November 2019) and this is honesty one of our top experiences that we still talk about. The owner was amazing. Very nice and accommodating and the food was AMAZING! He has the most beautiful family and was just an all around nice guy. When we come back we'll definitely be staying in the cabanas!
