★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place really is a "cachito de cielo" (little piece of heaven) had a great time there and the host were very thoughtful, one thing that I'll never forget is the welcoming note they left on the table with my name on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place very peaceful and healing. AC in the rooms to survive the suffocating heat of Tulum. Great kitchenette to be able to cook instead of paying overpriced restaurants in Tulum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Cachito de cielo for three nights and it was an amazing adventurous experience! This is a magic place in the middle of the forest that takes your breath away. Everything is done and furnished in a stylish sophisticated way that you simply don’t want to leave. It’s a peaceful place where you can spend some time and it’s very close to all main attractions and Tulum beaches. The hosts are amazing friendly people who take time to explain you where you can go sightseeing and eating out. We are definitely coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy place with a beautiful swimming pool and welcoming host.
The room is room, it is actually 2 rooms + spacious kitchen.
We stayed in couple of other places in Tulum and this was the best one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is really beautifully located in the jungle. The hotel grounds are very clean, with a wonderful pool and overall a very nice atmosphere.
Our room was also perfect. Nice size, very clean and with all the amenities you could need. A large bathroom, a large full kitchen, a large living room with a great view of the jungle. You really get the impression of a luxury jungle lodge.
The reception by the owners was straightforward, everything was explained to us well and they were always available during our stay.
Unfortunately, the roof of our bungalow was being repaired during our stay, so that it was very noisy in the room for the first two days, the workers looked into the room and therefore one could hardly stay there undisturbed. There was no compensation for this, much more we were promised by Alberto that the work would take no more than 2 hours.
Negatively, we also noticed that almost daily with a gasoline-powered leaf blower the site is freed from leaves. This regularly took 1 to 2 hours and also occurred several times a day. A relaxed stay at the pool was unfortunately not possible with this background noise.
After three days, about halfway through our stay, Alberto (the owner) asked us several times to pay. There we also learned that payment by credit card costs a fee of 5% of the price. A fee-free payment is only possible in cash. Unfortunately, it is hardly possible in Mexico to withdraw enough cash for a week's hotel stay. I have never had to pay a fee on credit card payments in a hotel. We did not like that.
Our room was cleaned once in the middle of our stay, although we were told beforehand that cleaning would not take place. Because we were counting on the room not being cleaned, meaning not being entered by other people, my friend left her credit card on the kitchen table. We only used this credit card once during our three-week stay in Mexico, and that was to pay for this hotel. It was also only in this hotel outside the safe. One day after the payment, unauthorized money was charged from this credit card. 4 days later again. It is likely that either someone stole the credit card data during room cleaning or the data was stolen during payment.
We pointed this out to Alberto after we noticed the unauthorized withdrawals. unfortunately, he never commented on this and never responded again, although he had always responded immediately before. This disappointed us.
