Best place. The owner knows a lot and is amazing friendly he has at his part of the house 4 dogs and 2 cats. The area is very beautiful

I have stayed at Nomad Deluxe numerous times. There is a reason I keep choosing to stay there! Animal lovers Tamas and Gabi are the most gracious, accommodating hosts one could ever imagine. A warm, safe, inviting home environment is provided for you while staying in playa del carmen. Nomad is situated on a quiet street , just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of 5th avenue , where there is endless shopping , restaurants and bars to visit but is far enough away that you will not be disturbed by noise! The accommodations are immaculate. The outdoor spaces are plentiful, open and peaceful. Nomad is a nurturing space where you are allowed to “just be you”, where you can grow and evolve spiritually, if you choose. This is the ONLY place I choose to stay when I travel to Playa Del Carmen. Thank you for the love and acceptance that is provided here. It is TRULY a home away from home

What an amazing value, checkin was easy and the management was incredibly helpful and kind. My suite was very clean, beautifully furnished with all the amentities I could want and more. The common areas on the property are stunning. Well designed with lots of natural elements and a trendy boho feel. There is a relaxed spiritual vibe all around the property. It’s very welcoming and I felt very safe during my stay. I made several new friends with the other travellers on the property lounging around the pool in the garden. Our hosts welcomed us like we were family and went out of there way to insure we were all happy and all our needs were met. The neighbourhood is safe and peaceful and everything you need from restaurants, the shopping district and the beach is only a few minutes away by foot. My biggest complaint is I didn’t have enough time to stay long enough. I travel a lot for work and from time to time get to settle down for a month or two in one place. Next time I get a repreave from work I’m gonna stay here for a few months. From the dozens of boutique hotels, air bnbs, hostels and shared accommodations I’ve stayed in over the last year for work, this one tops my list for value, cleanliness and amazing hosts. I will definitely be back to the nomad deluxe. Hopefully for a much longer stay next time!

Stayed 4 nights in February 2020. Pros: -Decent A/C -Large mini fridge with little freezer -Quiet neighborhood -Cute communal hangout spot Cons: --Google maps location is false. Owner said he sent me directions on What's App, but I don't have this app and we had already been in touch with each other using other means so I don't know why he didn't just get in touch that way. It is way farther away from everything than it looks and that really messed with our plans. I tried to let Orbitz know about the incorrect location in Google and the owner sent me two angry messages and then berated me in person for doing so. Made us feel unwelcome. --Killed three cockroaches in the room on three separate occasions. One was in the bed. --Moldy shower curtain and rust stained towels. No toiletries other than soap bars --Woken up by owner's barking dogs early in the morning three times (with windows closed, AC on and white noise machine running) --When we tried to leave to go to the airport, the front gate to the street was stuck and wouldn't open. Our key and other guest keys wouldn't work. I tried knocking on the owner's door, yelling and calling the phone but no one replied. We almost missed our airport transfer because of this (there is no other exit). It's also a safety hazard. --Apparently the neighborhood is not super safe to the north (according to the owner). TL;DR: We are experienced travelers who don't routinely stay in nice hotels; also I have lived in Guatemala. I was not expecting a luxurious experience but the Nomad fell far beneath my expectations. You could pay far less and get much better service (and much less hostility) at a local hostel.

Thank you so much for having us! We spent almost 2 weeks in Nomad Deluxe and it was really great! Tamas is so nice and helpfull host. Place is very clean and nice with lot of plants. We will be back again in Nomad Deluxe for sure! Thanks!
