It was a magical and very interesting experience! I saw everything in one night and it's amazing to learn how the turtle's reproductive system works. Leo is very nice and it was a real pleasure talking to him about his passions ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really really nice time with one if the volunteers called Leo. We did the night tour which started at 9pm. Luckily we could see 2 turtles putting their eggs onto the beach which was very fascinating. We could even grab after the eggs. Afterwards we put them in the protected area of the camp, whereby we even saw two new born turtles walking around we set free to the sea. The work they are doing is extremely important. Thank you for all the information, we really enjoyed the tour. This tour is 100% recommended to anyone who is interested in the turtels way of life, in the project and to walk around at the beachside during night time to see the beautiful stars. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A definitely must when in Puerto Escondido. Throughout Puerto Escondido you’ll be offered this experience with a cost of about 20 dlls. You can simply walk to this camp by the beach, and see for free the liberation of newborn turtles. It’s an amazing experience.
