What a great trip! Best fishing charter I've had in Cancun, and I've been on 3! The captain asked us what we wanted to fish for, and knew right where to go to put us on our chosen species. There were 6 of us and we all caught fish. The deck hand never quit moving, it was amazing to watch, he definitely earned his money!!!! I think we caught a total of 9 fish between us. I will be using them next time. Our boat was clean, well taken care of, and well stocked. I bought a 12 pack of Coronas from them for $10 before we left.

Overall we would never recommend or use this fishing charter again based off of customer service. We did a 8 hour tour and have been fishing numerous times, so by no means are we amateurs. With this company you will not cast a single real or bait your own line, they want you to sit in the chair and they will hook you a fish then hand it over for you to reel in; not fishing at all in my opinion, but this is the smallest flaw I have with this place. They brought us back to the dock late because they wanted to troll for bait for the next day during the last 15 mins and I had to ask twice to please bring us back. When we finally got to the dock, they never offered to cut up any of the fish for us to take home, but still this was the least of our issues. What really made us so ashamed to of even used them is when my husband tipped them both we didn’t get a single thank you. They both laughed and whispered between each other like they expected more. Overall it was poor professionalism and I would be ashamed to know if I ever had workers of mine behave in this manner.

Caught 4 barracuda in choppy/rough waters on a 4 hour trip. Ventura and Edgar are a great team and put us on the fish! I will definitely use this fishing charter next time I'm in town

Our sport fishing trip was just awesome! We had top of the line fishing gear, The crew helped with the cleaning. Captain and mates worked very hard all day. Seas were rough but captain and crew did everything they could to make us as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend and will be back next time I make it Cancun! Thanks for a great trip!

Went home empty handed and out $725 - Avoid this place at all costs! Pay more and go somewhere else. I rented the 46' Defender boat for 9 of us. It's $600 for 4 hours, plus $8/person for fishing licenses, and 5% credit card fee. The boat was NOT sleek or well maintained as stated on their website. Broken fishing chair, gerry-rigged outriggers, dead cockroach in the bathroom, and depressing cabin space. It took 45 minutes to get out to the fishing waters, 30 minutes for the crew to catch small bait fish. And that was the most action we saw in terms of fishing. They brought us to a few spots, and after no bites they trolled around for hours. It was all for nothing - we caught one small tuna, that they promptly chopped up for bait. The crew were nice guys and they tried to catch fish, but it was pointless. At one point we had a monster of a fish on the line, but they let it get under the boat and too close,so the line rubbed against the boat and snapped before we even got to see it. The company guarantees on their website (screenshot attached) that you will come back to the marina with fish or we will either refund your money or offer you another fishing trip, whichever you choose. I called the manager and asked them to honor their guarantee, and they danced around it for a while and ended up telling me that they would not refund a penny because of that one tiny tuna we caught (but never got to take home). The verdict - trust your time and money with a more honest company that knows what they are doing.

Booked 2 tours through this company. One for fly fishing and light tackle in the lagoon and another for deep sea fishing. Both went great, and the pics speak for themselves. Caught Snook, Jack Crevelle, Speckled Trout, Barracuda, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and a Blacktip Shark. Was great fun both times and the guides knew where the fish were and how to catch them.

We had a fantastic trip. The crew were extremely professional and friendly. The boat was well kept and in great shape. We took a 6 hour trip and as you can see did very well. I would highly recommend this charter to anyone and I look forward to using them again on my next visit. The ceviche was outstanding off the fresh caught Mahi. Bent rods and tight lines everyone!

We booked a 31" boat for a seven hour fishing trip on May 9. The office staff, particularly Marisa was very helpful and organized. The shuttle picked us up on time. The Captain and deck hand seemed very squared away. The boat was clean, and in good shape. the weather was beautiful and the seas fairly calm. I thought it was going to be a great trip. But in seven hours we caught two barracuda, one barely a foot long. And we caught two Bonita so small they literally used them as bait! In seven hours! The Captain and deckhand hardly understood any English, and as the day progressed, and there was no fish they didn't talk to us at all. Literally hours of dead silence. When we put the boat up they still didn't offer any explanation for the poor fishing. Just no communication at all. I felt like the deckhand worked really hard to keep the gear ready if we got a hit, but there was just no fish. Hours with literally no strikes. We barely went out nine or ten miles and there was already a lot of seaweed showing. I wonder if we just didn't go out far enough. Also, we were very close to Mujares the whole time, so maybe over fished? I don't know, what happened, but it certainly was very disappointing. A very expensive boat ride with people we couldn't communicate with, and nothing to show for it.. Despite the positive parts of the experience I can't in good conscience recommend this to anyone. I would likely not book with them again. I suspect the nearness to shore and the early arrival of the sea weed had something to do with the poor fishing. But I don't really know, and it seems like in seven hours the crew could figure something out to get us on some kind of fish. They seemed somewhat inflexible in adjusting the location or tactics we were using. We all know there's going to be bad days of fishing but this felt like we were in an area with no fish, or already overfished. Do as you like, but I was disappointed and felt taken advantage of.
