Ehh…We’ve been here a few times. The last time, we went deep sea fishing and was told for a “small fee”, they would be prepare the fish we caught. They prepared a bowl of ceviche from the barracuda we caught and fried fish tacos from the pompano fish. We really wish they wouldn’t have fried it. Little did we know, how much the “small fee” would be. Our tab was over $75. We asked our waiter about it, he said “something was added that shouldn’t have been”, but that only knocked off $7. Overall, it was an experience, but we definitely wouldn’t have the restaurant cook it again. Way too expensive to batter and deep fry fish that we put in hard work to catch ourselves after paying the tour $300 lol

Vacationing from NYC: This isn’t my first time coming here but this will be my last. the first two times I’ve came here the service was Great but I was shocked the third time it was just horrible. The customer service was just bad the drinks was horrible taste like juice and lemonade and when we told the server this he was upset. the food was great BUT overpriced from the last time I came here & the annoying part was the server saying “leave me a big tip” When we received our check there was extra stuff added onto the bill and the waiter stated there is a “20% surcharge when using a credit card” I was shocked because I’ve been here before and never was I charged a 20% surcharge. So I stated I’ll Pay cash and he was upset about that and stood there and watched me count my money. And whispered “big tip” If you are going to eat here I would advise you to PLEASE DOUBLE TRIPLE CHECK YOUR BILL FYI: gratuity is included

We went to watch the sunset have a couple of drinks but when we got our bill it was $23.00 for one beer and one margarita. I said this is crazy, so I asked for the manager. He looked at the bill and said that I ordered a margarita with premium tequila. I said no I hadn’t, I just ordered a margarita period, I never mentioned the type of tequila. He also said that I included a $7.00 tip. That was a lie because I didn’t ask him to include any tip. The bill should have been half what he changed us. The waiter went and hid and we left with the little change he gave us. Do not go to this place, they are dishonest and they will rip you off especially if you are an American.

ZERO stars, if I could, The service was the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The MENU IS OVERPRICED. The sauces that came with the food were tasteless. The "welcome" drinks that we were promised were the size of a small salt shaker. What a joke. The two other restaurants next to the Lighthouse restaurant were very busy. We should have know better than be dragged into the Lighthouse Restaurant by the hustler operating the pier when we saw how empty it was in comparison. We have been to restaurant 4 years ago and liked it. We will not be back.

Easily the best food we’ve had on this trip! Had I known about this place before, I would’ve skipped the all inclusive resort and just ate here everyday. Drinks are wonderful. Catch of the day was SO good! Oysters were fresh. Lastly, get the caramel shrimp tostada. So worth it.

You get a free margarita which is a shot of house tequila, not the best. The service was slow, it took about 30 minutes before our food came. We ended up waving waiters to come to our table to order drinks. My boyfriend ordered a tropical sun and when it finally came (about 10 minutes) the drink either had very little alcohol or no alcohol at all. We were about to leave bc it was taking forever to get our food they finally brought the food out. The food on the other hand was good! We got the fried red snapper and burrito w fish tacos. We were pleasantly surprised at the flavor of both dishes. Overall it was an ok experience, I would not come back again.

Should’ve read the reviews for this place before I came - share the sentiment that food was overpriced. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it and cocktails were delicious but I was just shocked at the bill at the end. Cocktail was delicious but don’t think it had much alcohol in it, I’m a lightweight and I felt almost nothing. Got fish with mashed potatoes and veggies for my main, which I enjoyed. Some how those two things landed me with a $770 MXN bill (not including tips). Highlight of this place was the waterfront view and the live saxophone player!

We love this restaurant for casual dining. Great view at sunset. Caramel shrimp and spicy tuna tostada are amazing. They also have a nearby musician for entertainment that is enjoyable. Most casual places in Cancun hotel zone have such loud music, it's hard to talk. So take an extra dollar for his tip. Service is good too.
