Interesante es conocer su capilla de Janitzio y su Comisaría con una arquitectura vernácula. El 25 de noviembre la visitó don Porfirio Díaz, el 9 de enero de 1921 la recorrió el presidente Álvaro Obregón y el 2 de octubre de 1964 el presidente Adolfo López Mateos.
Janitzio is a small island on Lake Pátzcuaro, in the state of Michoacan, known primarily for its Day of the Dead tradition. Interesting is to know its Janitzio chapel and its police station with a vernacular architecture. On November 25, Don Porfirio Díaz visited it, on January 9, 1921, it was visited by President Álvaro Obregón and on October 2, 1964, President Adolfo López Mateos.
