★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First visit to Captain Don’s with a group of 6 friends/family. Apparently some renovations have been done recently so it is very well ventilated with lots of ceiling fans. Inexpensive drinks and an extremely attentive server. This is a very lively bar and featured Soul Trip, an excellent band ( one of our favourites in the bay ). Bonus for me, I got to join the band with my harmonica!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, great service, large portions and excellent value. We had the Classic Hamburgeusa con Fries and it was amazing. Also tried the Nachos Al Pastor which were very good. American football on the tele and they are very pet friendly. Great choice right near the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this gem! Walked past the other day and found a super special on Burgers, new special every day! The Ruben was amazing and the chef/owner Robert was very attentive and takes pride in fun atmosphere and homey comfort food. Definitely a favorite of the expat community!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here 3 x now and will be back the rest of the time I have here. Short walk from El pescafor. Watched hockey games! True Canadian bar. All staff are wonderful. The bartender has prompt service-Maricellas. Drinks specials can't turn down. I walked by Tuesday live music "country too"! Band plays in Saturday as well until 7pm.
