Bad experience- we plan to rent a moped and go all around the island. I thought they opened early so I was there at 8:30 and at 9:15 one of their employees showed up that did not have the keys.He sat down to wait and said it would be another 15 minutes. I told them I lived five houses over and was going over to get the wife and wanted a moped. I came back in 20 minutes and they had rented the only moped they had and offered no solutions. No responsibility for any actions do not recommend ended up getting one by the main plaza at a lower cost

These guys are professional scammers, Diego will give you a faulty and poorly maintained vehicle and charge you a minimum of 50 USD upon return despite the fact that you have purchased their insurance. Beware of this place, I checked the vehicule fully before leaving. To my surprise, when I was driving on my way back, the keys fell out of the ignition without me noticing. The car didn’t shut down and I couldn’t hear the keys drop because the motor on these golf carts is so old and noisy that its hard to hear anything happening around you. Diego blamed the fact that key « jumped out of ignition » on the many bumps on the road and reckless driving which is Bs, these cars can’t go faster than 20km. He refused to give me back my documents until I paid 50 USD, piece of advice, don’t give them any recent ID, so that you can walk away hassle free. Also they dont check if the people driving have actual driving licenses, they pretend to do so but will give a car to anyone who pays them. Estafadores! Scammers! Des bons a rien qui aiment arnaquer les touristes, restez loin.

Cart broke multiple times. Got a new cart and that one also broke down. All the carts are old, workers are nice but not worth the hassle.

My only bad experience on Isla Mujeres was at this dump. We went two days in a row, and on the second day, we decided to get the golf cart rental they were hawking on the UltraMar ferry, thinking they might be nicer because the ships were pretty nice. We were wrong. First of all, the place is hard to get to, as it's several blocks into the island from the ferry terminal. There are plenty of other rental places on the main drag for the same price. Second, the golf carts are horrible. They have no power steering, so every time you hit a bump in the road (of which there are many on the island), it feels like you're going to crash. The parking brakes are also broken on all the carts. The accelerators were finicky, and if you didn't press them just right, the cart would not move. They were frankly unsafe to drive. Finally, when we took the golf cart back and explained the problems, we were given another cart with the same issues. I asked for our money back and was told no. (Eventually, I got part of our money back by making a scene and telling potential customers not to rent their awful golf carts. They basically paid me to leave.) DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE OR PAY TO RENT FROM THEM ON THE FERRY. The rental companies on the main drag are the same price and have much nicer golf carts. This place is a scam.

While our golf cart did break down (starter battery died), after calling it only took 25 minutes for someone to arrive at Punta Sur to swap our battery. The parking brake was broken but it wasn’t an issue as long as there was somewhere flat to park.

Do not rent from here. Carts don't have working brakes. Steering is stiff and horrible. We rented a cart for 800 from 12 til 5 with the understanding that if we brought it back late it would be 200 pesos for the extra hour. Then he wanted to charge us 400 for an extra hour. Then i read the reviews here. Total scam artists. Will be contacting the profeco.

Super nice and chill folks running a rental outfit slightly off the hub on the island. Had a great time driving their cart around the island.

This is a great place to rent a golf cart on Isla Mujeres! After getting out of the ferry station we tried several other companies; one was decently priced (950 pesos) but didn't have any cars left and all others tried to take advantage of us as tourists, asking for 2500 or 2000 pesos, and lying that the cheaper cars are electric, not with gas. We finally found this company, rented a cart for the entire day for 800 pesos and everything went smoothly. We drove for over 5 hours, with 4 short stops and had no problems whatsoever. We were happy with the golf cart and would definitely come back here on a next trip.
